Amir Khan has sensationally deposited his view into the crisis engulfing the royal family by insisting that Britain is not racist, just after he said he had never experienced racism in the Uk.
Khan’s contribution to the crisis was a breath of fresh air into the gripping news that threatens to spiral out of control of not properly managed.The retired boxer is right that most decent Brits are not racist. There will always be the few poisonous individuals who habour pathetic prejudice.
Khan whose life experience has revolved around boxing and its associations would have been in the best of companies most of the time. Britain as a country has very welcoming and generous laws, and affords equality of opportunity to all its citizens.
Complaints procedures exist wherever, the general rules are being violated, unlike some countries where the law is often not respected or upheld.
Khan’s comments where in relation to some of the wide speculation that racism was a factor in the decision of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle withdrawing from royal duties. Some credible deductions from past statements made by Prince Harry have been made by media analysts showing that Prince Harry was that way inclined anyway, but may have found the perfect opportunity in Meghan to live out his dreams
ISSUES
The former world boxing welter weight champion said that every family has their issues highlighting that he had suffered serious issues himself with his family. Khan encouraged the families to try and resolve their issues by sitting down and talking.
“I don’t think England is a racist country, he said.
“We have been living here, we are well respected.”
Khan added: “I’m British, I’ve lived in Britain all my life. “I feel that Meghan will also be welcomed because the people in Britain are very loving.”
The former WBA champ was speaking to Prince William and Kate Middleton as they visited Bradford in their first joint royal engagement for the year. Khan is family friends with the owners of MyLahor, who hosted the royal couple during the tour today.
He wished the Royal Family well as they carve out a new role for Harry and Meghan. Khan said:
“Every family has their difficulties for sure, but it’s all about sitting together and resolving the matters.
“We wish them all the very best.
