BY AARON MILLER-
American election watchdogs have filed complaints in the U.S over receiving emails to their public accounts from the Donald Trump campaign, asking for funds.
The emails are said to have been sent to politicians all around the world, to gather fundraising for his presidential candidate’s presidential candidacy.
The complaint by the American election watchdog will not achieve anything besides perhaps a slap on the wrist, telling Trump to desist from this.
A source in the Canadian media who has seen these emails, told the eye if media.com emails have also been sent to the official email addresses of politicians in Britain, Austria, Iceland, according to a complaint filed yesterday, Wednesday, by the U.S federal Election Commission, (FEC).
Copies of the mails were requested by the eye of media.com, but we were told most could not be disclosed because many of the politicians in question do not want to be identified.
Exactly why Trump, a property billionaire mogul, may need to do this is unclear. It can be argued that the sender is on the Trump team, but was not necessarily permitted or endorsed by Trump.
Canadian politicians are said to be ignoring the emails, especially if they don’t want to be associated with his campaign. The frown about it may arise from the fact that recipients of the mails were not first sought for Permission.
RADICAL
Trump is a radical politician of extreme ideologies. He sparked controversy when he announced one of his election manifestos to include the banning of Muslims from America if he becomes president.
His tough and daring stance alarmed many commentators and politicians, but Trump managed to achieve the feat of being the Republican’s parties presidential nominee. He rallied the support he needed, and has many fans who warm up to him controversial manifesto.
SHOWDOWN
However, he faces Hilary Clinton in the final showdown for next January’s elections. Clinton, being the narrow favorite on the polls has the support of Barack Obama, the U.S president. Obama received a standing audition during a visit to the Canadian Parliament yesterday, with shouts of ‘fourth term’ made by some members of the audience.
