MOHAMMED ALI’S CHILDREN WILL BATTLE OVER HIS 80m DOLLARS ESTATE

BY SAMMIE JONES

The estate of Mohammed Ali seems to have a raging battle ahead, with some if his children set to battle for his fortune.

Ali, estimated to have amassed a fortune in the region of 50 to 80 million dollars, is known to have had 9 children.

A few more  children will come out of the woodworks like roaches, his second wife Khalila Camacho Ali told Forbes.

Ali’s only son, Mohammed Ali jnr, has already complained bitterly that Ali’s second wife  constantly blocked him from seeing his father. He had apparently been living in poverty and is now looking to put in a claim for a share of his father’s estate.

Ali’s objecting wives can be criticised all day long for preventing other biological or potential biological children from seeing their father. However,  no woman wants a child from a relationship they don’t approve of, coming close to their man. But when that man lives an estate behind as a rich man, any son will queue up for his share.

Here lies one of the reason a man must take responsibility over his breeding ground. Also with the relationship he has with the mother of his children. Every child has a right to have a relationship with their father.

Equally, every woman has a right to block an illegitimate child from seeing her man. This conflict of intetest becomes a tirelessly unfortunate affair as both sides persist in their convictions to a stale mate.

Mohammed Ali was as much a knockout to behold, as he  also was in the ring. With his riches and good looks, women must have been falling at his feet. He was fearless and precise with his wishes.

Every detail of his funeral including guest speakers, was apparently planned by Mohammed Ali very carefully. Many expect he must have equally planned his will too. Nothing official in this respect has yet been released. With Ali’s estate set to be a battle ground for claims and counter claims, we will find out more soon.

There are speculations that Mohammed Ali may have entrusted everything to his fourth wife. However, it will be a big contradiction to the loving and humanitarian Ali, if he cut his children off completely. It will contradict any logical pattern to the considerate Ali we knew.

Mohammed Ali jnr, also plans to write a book detailing his life story and the struggles he lived through. It must have been hard being Mohammed Ali’s son and broke. The embarrassment he must have faced growing up must have been immense.

The one question for Mohammed Ali jnr is why he was not motivated by his father’s success, enough to carve out a future for himself? He had his father’s name and would have inherited many of his father’s genetic make up. Many questions remain unanswered, but answers will come in what will be an interesting few months ahead.
