How did a mentally ill man got to kill a mentally active woman like Joe Cox?That’s the painful question everyone will be asking after the shattering news of this killing.
Mental Thomas Mair, was known to have suffered mental health problems. Why was a man with such a medical history was able to own or access a gun? Members of the public should now want to know how many people with mental health problems live near their homes or place of work.
Joe Cox was an Mp from the heart, one who went the extra mile. She had been a member of Parliament for just a year. This special lady fought for Syrian refugees, and previously worked with amnesty international. How her life could so cruelly be snatched from her is shockingly sad.
This sick human being screamed Britain first before shooting and stabbing the well loved Mp. His name appears on a website associating him with far right political groups.
Representatives of Britain First political group quickly condemned the killing yesterday in a video. They said they don’t condone that sort of thing(the killing).
All campaigning in relation to the EU referendum has been halted in respect of Joe Cox. Video footage of the murdered Mp, slim and fit looking at 42, drives home the pain. Nobody deserves to die like that.
It would equally have been a sad death, had it been a man killed this way. However, it is so awful when it happens to a woman. The terror, the pain she must have felt in those lonely moments.
May her soul rest in perfect peace.
