Jamie Lynn Spears broke down in tears as she admitted to suffering from self-esteem issues due to being the younger sister of Britney Spears

During the opening episode, Jamie Lynn struggled with a backward dive from a helicopter into water and was called a ‘buffoon’ by an instructor before she was later interviewed about her failure.

‘I guess I just wanna like [proving that] I’m just like worth something.’

‘I’m so proud of her, love her to death, but I don’t know. Sometimes I feel like I don’t really have anything for myself,’ she continued.

Jamie Lynn achieved her own level of fame thanks to her starring role in Nickelodeon series Zoey 101, but admitted feeling overshadowed by Britney.

‘I struggle with self-esteem all the time,’ Jamie Lynn admitted.

Jamie Lynn said the water exercise also rattled her since her daughter Maddie almost drowned in a February 2017 accident.

Britney, who feuded with her sister Jamie earlier this year over her memoir Things I Should’ve Said, and accused her younger sibling of telling ‘crazy lies’ in the book.

Jamie and her parents Lynne and Jamie Spears were also left off the guest list for Britney’s wedding to Sam Asghari in June.

Brave

In an Instagram post, the singer congratulated her ‘brave’ and ‘inspiring’ little sister for getting candid in the sneak peek for her Fox’s Special Forces.

Shortly after the post was published, fans of the Toxic singer expressed confusion in the comment section — even speculating that Britney may no longer be in control of her Instagram account.

‘It’s my b-day but you’re my heart so I’m thinking about you … congratulations on being so brave, inspiring, and showing guts and glory in your show !!!’ Britney began.

She then appeared to reply to Jamie Lynn’s quote about wanting to feel ‘worth something’ and escape her sister’s shadow by ‘proving herself’ on the cut-throat program, which will premiere January 4, 2023.

‘You ain’t alone … if anybody knows what that feels like … I get it’ wrote Britney, who was clearly alluding to her now-terminated conservatorship.
