U.S Elections In Doubt Over Potential Russian Cyber attacks

By Ben Kerrigan-

The  results of the U.S elections are in doubt over potential Cyber attacks from Russia.

Donald Trump’s Election victory may be in doubt according to Dr Stein the Green party Candidate who has made a formal request for a recount.

A pledge to file recounts in Wisconsin Michigan and Pennsylvania has been filed by Dr. Green and lawyers for Hillary Clinton’s campaign have also expressed an interest to participate in the recount.

If the results are overcome in those states it would have the unlikely effect of changing the elections. Dr Stein believes hackers may have skewed the poll in favour of Donald Trump and wants to ensure this did not happen.

Dr Steins campaign aims to raise 7m dollars to cover the fees for the recount of the votes in the three states that ultimately decided the U.S elections. Nearly  5.3m has so far been raised  so far for the recount of the UK. U.S elections so far.

The doubt raised about the U.S election results was sparked by  voting rights lawyers John Bonifaz and  J Alex Halderman who urged candidates to request a recount.

They suspect the possibility of foul play by Russian Cyber attackers. Clinton was expected to clinch a clear victory in all three states . No evidence the elections were sabotaged has been found but no chances are being taken.
