With the new Premier League season on the horizon, the transfer market is entering a decisive stage, with several of England’s biggest clubs accelerating their recruitment plans. Arsenal, Liverpool, Manchester United and Tottenham are all pushing ahead with major moves, as managers attempt to strengthen their squads before the window closes.
Arsenal have turned their attention to Juventus forward Kenan Yildiz after missing out on Vinicius Jr, with the 21-year-old Turkey international emerging as a leading option for Mikel Arteta. The Gunners have long identified the left side of their attack as an area requiring reinforcement and are exploring whether Yildiz could provide the pace, creativity and versatility needed to challenge on both the domestic and European fronts.
Yildiz has developed into one of Juventus’ most highly regarded young attacking players and his emergence has attracted attention from several major European clubs. For Arsenal, his potential arrival would represent another significant investment in a squad already being reshaped with the aim of sustaining a Premier League title challenge while competing in the Champions League.

The move comes after Arsenal missed out on Vinicius Jr, forcing the club to consider alternative options. Mikel Arteta is understood to want greater depth and attacking quality, particularly as Arsenal prepare for another demanding campaign across multiple competitions. The club have also agreed a deal to sign Aston Villa defender Ezri Konsa, adding further defensive strength to their squad.
Liverpool, meanwhile, are intensifying their search for attacking reinforcements as they look beyond Mohamed Salah’s eventual succession. The Merseyside club have seen a £50 million bid for Brighton winger Yankuba Minteh rejected, although their interest in the Gambian forward underlines the scale of their search for another dangerous wide player.
Minteh, who has impressed since establishing himself in the Premier League, is viewed as a player capable of adding speed and directness to Liverpool’s attack. The club’s willingness to make a substantial offer suggests they are prepared to invest heavily in finding the right successor to Salah, whose importance to Liverpool’s attack has been immense.

Liverpool are also monitoring Paris Saint-Germain winger Bradley Barcola, but that pursuit appears considerably more complicated. PSG reportedly value the France international at around £145 million, a figure substantially above Liverpool’s valuation. Such a difference could force Liverpool to concentrate on more attainable alternatives, with Minteh among the names currently attracting serious attention.
The club are also undergoing change elsewhere in the squad, having agreed a deal with Inter Milan for the sale of Curtis Jones. The midfielder’s departure would further alter the composition of Liverpool’s team as the club look to balance player sales with significant investment in new attacking talent.
Manchester United are also preparing to make another major move, with Brighton midfielder Carlos Baleba increasingly expected to become the subject of a bid worth more than £60 million. United’s interest in Baleba is not new, with the club having pursued the midfielder since last summer, but their determination to finally secure his signature appears to have intensified.
The Cameroon international is regarded as a powerful and dynamic midfielder capable of providing physicality, ball-carrying ability and defensive strength. For United, his arrival could address weaknesses in midfield while giving the team greater energy and control in the centre of the pitch.
Tottenham, meanwhile, appear to have made one of the biggest moves of the latest transfer scramble by agreeing a deal to sign Manchester City winger Savinho for an initial £75 million. The Brazilian’s proposed transfer would represent a major statement of intent from Spurs as they seek to strengthen their attacking options.
Savinho’s ability to operate on the wing and create opportunities in one-on-one situations makes him an attractive addition, while his experience at City means he arrives with an understanding of the demands associated with elite-level football. Tottenham are also pursuing Manchester City forward Omar Marmoush, potentially creating an intriguing situation in which Spurs could attempt to strengthen their attack with two players from the Premier League champions.

City, for their part, have already begun considering possible replacements for Savinho, with Brazilian winger Allan reportedly identified as one option. That highlights how one major transfer can trigger a chain reaction across the market, with clubs simultaneously buying, selling and searching for replacements.
The latest developments demonstrate just how quickly the Premier League transfer market can accelerate during its final stages. Arsenal are searching for a new attacking star, Liverpool are pursuing alternatives to strengthen their post-Salah era, Manchester United are pushing towards a long-standing midfield target and Tottenham are preparing to spend heavily on Savinho while exploring another attacking deal.
These negotiations could have consequences far beyond the transfer window itself. The clubs involved are not merely adding players; they are attempting to reshape their squads around their ambitions for the campaign ahead. The days ahead for Arsenal, Liverpool, United and Spurs, could therefore prove crucial in determining whether their summer recruitment ultimately matches the scale of their ambitions.
