By Tim Parsons-

The International  Association of Athletic Federation (IAAF) has announced that Russian athlete, Darya Klishina, has been barred from the Rio Olympics 2016.

The 25 year old talented.long jumper Darya Klishina received the news a day after she arrived at Rio Janeiro,  in Brazil. The imposed ban was invoked  as part of a disqualification against the national Federation, following allegations of a state- run doping Scandal.

Darya Klishina, who has been based outside of Russia for the past three years had initially been cleared to compete, and given an exceptional pass to take part in the much coveted games.

However, following “new information”  received last week, her exceptional pass was revoked and a ban put in place, to prevent her taking part in the games.
The sports governing body have so far refused to state what the new information is, except to confirm that Klishina will not be allowed to take part in the games.

Gutted Klishina had already posted pictures.of her arrival at Rio do Jeneira on her installation page, and said she had put in an application for “an emergency meeting ” for a hearing about the said ban.

The Court of Arbitration confirmed they had received an application against the ruling. It is only fair that if the governing bodies have any convincing evidence of Klishina’s guilt they make it public because of the appearance of injustice this has.
Russian athletes have found themselves embroiled about a doping Scandal they outwardly deny, but one the authorities insist is evident according to the information they have gathered.

Klishina’s ban will raise Alot of questions as to either the unfairness.of the ban or the pervasive nature of doping in the Russian Olympic  team, if the allegations actually stand up when.closely examined.
