Champ Fury And Ngannou Go Way Below The Belt Using Foul Language Forcing Apology From ESPN

By Shaun Murphy-

Tyson Fury and Francis Ngannou  went way below the belt in an interview conducted by ESPN , when both men used crass  language in an attempt to sound cool, forcing the broadcaster to apologize.

Following  a joint interview with the broadcaster after Fury’s masterful sixth-round KO victory over Dillian Whyte on Saturday night, Fury and Ngannou got too foul in their language before the American watershed.

Fury, the unbeaten Wbc heavyweight champion has always had a loose tongue, one which makes him very funny to boxing fans, but tends to forget the importance of being a role model to children.

He said: “We’re going to find out who the Baddest Motherf***er on the Planet is?”

A jubilant and fired-up Fury roared: “Good man, Francis!”

The interviewer quickly interjected and said: “We apologise for the language.”

Fury then out of nowhere asked Ngannou about the size of his penis, saying: “Have you got a big corey?”

Ngannou looked stunned at the question, until Fury pointed between his legs, prompting the pair to laugh, much to the shock of the audience.

The gypsy king has always been a crowd pleaser, but tends to forget that the likes of Mohammed Ali never had to use vulgar language to attract audiences. Ali was smart, charming, and  a good world champion, but was not unbeaten.

Fury, 33, has the rare opportunity of truly becoming one of the greats if he remains unbeaten as a heavyweight and eventually unifies the heavyweight division.

Fury expressed an interest in sharing the ring with The Predator, saying: “This is going to be a very special fight.

“Like never before seen in the history of our sport. We’re not talking about two light guys who are 140lbs.

“I’m 270, he’s 270lbs. So it’s going to be an explosive fight when it happens.”

Ngannou, who is out of contract with the UFC in December, added: It’s going to be a hybrid with different type of rules.

“MMA gloves in the ring kind of mixed up. Mixed up [and] a little different.”

Ngannou is confident a crossover clash with Fury will come to fruition, telling BT Sport: “Definitely sometime next year. 2023.

“That fight will happen!”

“Because by the end of the year, to know exactly [where I stand], we’re going to sort it and get settled and ready to go.”

Fury who is now unbeaten in 33 fights hinted at retirement after the fight, but it will come back to hunt him in old age if he does not unify the heavyweight division, when it was just one fight away.

Fury is the best heavyweight in the world at this moment, and will beat  Anthony Joshua and Olegsander Usyk because of his natural advantages and boxing IQ.

That’s on paper, but in reality, there is always a chance that one or both boxers will stop Fury, the precise reason he must tick the last box and unify the belts to truly go down in history as one of the greats.
