Donald Trump is to delay his plans to inject cash into the Mexico wall.
Donald Trump promised to build a wall between Mexico and America right through his election campaign .
He repeated his plans when he entered into office, stressing that Mexico will pay for the wall.
However, he appears to have back tracked from those plans, launching new plans to get the money from domestic sources
The billionaire former property mogul appears to have reconsidered his plans and may have let Mexico off the hook.
ANNOUNCEMENT
That’s not a bad decision, but his announcement to exclude it from this week’ s bill to be announced this week, has come as a surprise of sorts.
Timing is a key consideration, and the president has decided to postpone his big election promise.
Under the terms of Trump’s former plan, it would have been rather draconian to impose the bill of the expensive project on Mexico, when the idea of the wall was coming from Trump.
The American president has his hands full with the situation in North Korea and Syria , domestic issues are an added challenge to his presidency.
Trump said from the start that he knows how to execute his duties well, and is still on the job’ a test of this top world post.
He has demonstrated a high proclivity to accelerate processes that have been swept under the carpet for a long time.
” The problem of North Korea has been left for too long “, he says, and now is the time to solve it”.
DRIVE
Trump’s drive and determination for positive change in the area of national security is good, provided steps taking are wise and necessary.
BACKTRACKING
Backtracking on several election promises contradicts his image and reputation of sticking to his words , except if he is responding to fresh advice from his advices .
In that case , he will be admitting some of his former promises were ill founded and being corrected as he goes along.
The delay in plans to build the Mexican wall may actually be a good thing.
