By Lucy Caulkett-

X factor’s Rebekah Ryan is releasing a new single, What I Need, with dance producers and remixers Soul Seekerz.

Her new single comes 20 years after her first single, ”You Lift Me Up”, reached the Top 30 and was a national club hit.

Commenting on the track, Rebekah told the eye of media.com “This is just the beginning. I will be working on getting my own music out.” Despite the decision,(of elimination from the show) I have nothing but love for the X Factor for giving me a shot”.

“I made some friends for life, and the whole experience has already allowed me to grow spiritually and mentally from this. My son is very, very proud of me.

PERFORMER

When Rebekah sang the song ‘Why’, by Annie Lennox, she displayed the qualities  of a true performer“, capturing the imagination of the audience in the process and the sitting judges
At 40 years of age, the single mum who is making her fourth comeback in her lost show, still has a lot in the locker. At 17 years of age, Rebekah when was signed to a major label in 1993, after appearing on Des O’Connor’s Pot of Gold.
She produced the hit ”You Lift Me Up”, followed by the  awesome”A Little Bit Of Love”.
X factor has already been a very competitive affair, with plenty of talent in the mix, sometimes marked by preferential treatment of the judges. Generally, ability and confidence go a long way in winning the hearts of the judges, but talent always lies at the heart of those who do well. The only disappointing truth is that not many superstars actually come out of x factor when it comes to having a lasting career that succeeds in terms of albums sold and public appeal.
