UK Streets Full Of Youths With Mental Health Issues

By Charlotte Webster-

The streets of Britain is filled with youths with mental health issues of various levels. Consciousness of mental health is key to higher levels of personal well being and The Eye Of Media.Com is committed to playing our role in helping alleviate the problem.  Mental health is more of a serious problem that many people are aware of, and contributes to a large section of society’s problems.

Youths suffering from severe depression, anxiety, and psychosis, fill the streets of London, The Eye Of Media.Com can reveal. The multiplicity of mental health issues is not  necessarily unique to the Uk, but it is worth noting that a large proportion of violence in the streets is caused by individuals who suffer from a high level of mental health issues.

Many youths in the Uk claim to hear voices, but appear completely normal when spoken to in calm circumstances. Drugs is a major contributor to mental health issues, but so is sexual abuse, mental abuse, rejection, and unfortunate circumstances in a person’s life.It is unfair for the majority of normal and healthy minded individuals to have to put up with mental health problems, but unfortunately, the reality of life demands that we confront it, and do so wisely.

We all meet individuals who seriously irritate us or express a heightened level of anger and distress. More often, unaffected individuals solely focus on the undesirable conduct exhibited, and fail to connect poor and unacceptable conduct to mental health issues.

It is nobody’s business if they encounter someone who happens to suffer from mental health problems, but it is useful information to have that many youths, and also adults, suffer from a crippling degree of mental health issues that influences their behaviour.

The symptoms are not difficult to observe. Most individuals with mental health issues are impulsive and irrational and their behaviour, those who scream at the top of their voices give it away quickly. They demonstrate a high level of frustration and lack of self control, reflecting a heap of hidden psychological issues that underline their problem.

Individuals who do not suffer from mental health problems should be more diplomatic when dealing with sufferers. The problem is that most times, the thought doesn’t even come to mind. We assess them like they are normal human beings, and they are normal beings suffering with problems that make them act abnormal.

They have mental problems reflected in their actions, but unaware individuals simply fall into the trap without any consideration for the possibility of mental health issues. Being conscious helps us realise that we are not always dealing with human beings of similar brain wires.

The plan of the British government to introduce mental health education in schools should be celebrated, the Eye Of Media.Com has always advocated the importance of mental health education for children right from a young age. Knowledge of the components of mental health can help sufferers recognise the tale signs and work towards counteracting it.

If people know that very bad experiences like sexual abuse, drugs, or being a victim of violence or domestic violence affects their behaviour in a manner that only they are accountable for, they will be able to make efforts to regulate it. Seeking counselling and taking positive steps to overcome it can strengthen one’s ability to beat it.

Depression can intensify mental health issues, but it pays to focus on working out a solution to a problem or series of problems that cause depression, than giving in to it. Children need to be taught everything about mental health issues, being made aware of all the causes, and the recommended ways of beating it.

Members of The Eye Of Media.Com will be including this important topic in our monthly meetings, as it is a serious one not to be taken lightly. Statistics suggest that 1 in 4 people suffer from mental health issues, a deeply disturbing reading if accurate. Advancement that leads to a safer and more enlightened society will result from greater understanding of the various causes of mental health, and the proposed solutions. Britain must take a lead in addressing this serious illness.
