Absent Fathers Must Be Held Responsible For Children’s Development

By Sammie Jones-

Missing fathers must be held responsible for the development of children. A vast majority of children who have been abandoned by their father are affected by the missing contribution of their dad.

Men who drop out of their child’s life because they have split with the mother have contributed to any waywardness or lack of direction of that child. Ofcourse, there are children who succeed in life without their father, but not every child is different.

Even when we take into account the fact that not all fathers have anything positive to contribute to their children’s life, this does not relieve them of their natural duties. A man who is a failure in life can have lessons from their failure to give their child, but if they are absent from their child’s life they cannot offer anything.

Being in a new relationship, especially when the relationship with the natural mother of their child has gone sour, make sit more difficult to play a positive role in their child’s life. This is no excuse, and fathers of children from past relationships need to understand that they can play a significant role even through telephone conversations.

It goes without saying that birthday and Christmas presents should be a must, fathers who exclude their natural children in presents are failing in their duties. The Eye Of Media.Com are proud to say that we have successfully got 8 previously irresponsible fathers to contribute financially to the provision of birthday and Christmas presents for children that are not currently a part of their lives.

There is no reason why a child should be sad because a man who chose to have sex with their mother is refusing to give presents to children who are not part of their lives. Not part of their lives because they have moved on with some other woman., and bypassed their responsibilities. However, once a man or woman brings another human being to the world, they are committed to a life term obligation to contribute something meaningful to their lives.

Exceptions can be made to children who are unquestionably disrespectful and rude, but if the rudeness relates to the absence of the father or his lack of contribution, then the man should still have a duty to make amends and contribute to their lives financially and emotionally.

Research conducted by The Eye Of Media.Com shows that a  high perception of street violence, drug addiction, and mental health issues have roots in an absent father, although this can be no logical excuse for this. However, the impact an absent father can have on the psychology and mental health of an individual should not be underestimated.

The mere thought that some other child from a different relationship is benefiting financially or emotionally from the father of another child can have a serious effect on the mental health of a child. Every man who is sexually charged enough to get a woman pregnant, must be man enough to take responsibility for their children.
