A U.S Republican , Steve Scarlie , was shot by a Trump hater who felt Trump was destroying American democracy.
Scarlie was practising for a basketball game in a Surburban Virginia field when a gun man opened fire and hit him on the hip. Other Senatirs and Republicans ran for cover as fire was returned ,eventually killing the gun man . 51 year old Scarlie is the third highest ranking Republican, and known to be a staunch supporter of President Trump .
Revealed to be 66 year old James Hodgkinsin 111, a facebook page shows his utter contempt for President Trump .His words won’t be given any recognition here .
The team of Republicans were dusting off the sweat from their tough and challenging political work in preparation for their basketball match on Thursday. The gun man is said to have first taken some at Mississippi Republican Congress man , Trent Kelly, but missed , before aiming at Scarlie.
Between 50 and 100 rounds were fired by the gun man who hit four others , but did not succeed in killing any of them . Scarlie dragged himself some 15 yards away and lay.on the floor in panic, until the situation was under control and the crazed man rendered powerless.
President Trump announced that the gunman was killed before praising capitol police and expressing his thoughts for the victims and their families. Florida real, Ron De Santos, told reporters that the man had first send the political group if they were Republicans or democrats. Upon hearing they were Republicans, he opened fire.
The last thing the Republicans expected was to be aimed at by a gun man in his 60′ s who either did not make a fatal attempt on target, or was simply amateurish in his shooting. The shooting which occured between 6.39and 7 am on Thursday. The incident is a reminder to the White House that there may be individuals it there targeting he president of his colleagues , given President Trump’ s controversial image in America. Trump has always been a naturally controversial person, liked by his supporters for his direct and hold expression of his views .
His critics take exception to his whole style , approach and policies, many hoping and waiting for his downfall. The American president has had a good part of his first term dogged by high media tensions and scrutiny amid political furore linked to the investigations into alleged Russian meddling in the U .S elections. Ditched former FBI chief, James Comey, has confirmed that president Trump was not personally under investigation, but that hasn’t completely cleared the air. Speculation that Coney’s s failure to make that fact public may have led to his dismissal has opened up a can of worms that has led to further investigations that have created more issues for Trump.

President Trump has many haters ,.but decent citizens who take the law into their hands for political reasons are fools. They are brown bread before they know it if they go on a killing spree, or in this case, attempted killing spree. Especially when their intended target are government officials , a suicide mission resembles their adventure. There might still be questions as to why the gunman was a me to attempt up to 59 shots before being stopped in his tracks.
