TYSON FURY SAYS KLITSCHKO WILL BE HIS EASIEST FIGHT

BY ERIC KING
Heavyweight challenger, Tyson Fury, believes his fight against Wladimir Klitschko for this Saturday’s world heavyweight bout in Düsseldorf will be one of his easiest fig

The undefeated 27-year-old looked extremely relaxed at a press conference in Germany today to ahead of the bout.
“Old guy, young guy, old champion, new champion – enough said. Amen,” Fury said. “I think this is going to be one of my easiest fights. I know that sounds crazy because he’s a super champion but I see so many chinks in his armour.

“There’s nothing he does that worries me. I’m attracted to him in every way. There are so many things he doesn’t do very well and we’ll see what I’m talking about on Saturday night. “I was injury-free the whole camp which was quite cool this time and we didn’t leave anything unturned. I ate, slept, drank plenty of water and ate my vitamins so I should be feeling good come fight night.”
“I hope Wlad’s trained really hard but I don’t want to go on too much because I don’t want to scare him off again like last time.
“As we know, if I say a lot of stuff in the press conferences then we usually don’t have any fights. So I’m going to wind it back in and just wait.

Klitschko who has 64 wins out of 67 fights and has been unbeaten in a decade, will make Fury an overnight star if the brash brit actually pulls off the upset. Loud and overconfident, Fury has faced nobody in Klitschko’s league, but does has a fighting spirit that effectively means he cannot be completely ruled out of this competition. However, Klitschko’s wider experience and solid power makes him the betting favorite to ruin Fury’s dreams and prove his words to be nothing but hot air when the pair meet on Saturday. Klitschko said:

‘I’ve been nervous before every fight and I always faced some challenges that I never thought in the training camp that I would be able to face in the ring later on.’
Klitschko believes the bout will sell out in Dusseldorf on what he anticipates to be a great night.
He added: ‘I’m really happy that this fight is taking place on Saturday night – we’re going to see each other a couple of times before the work out, the weigh-in and eventually the fight.
‘I just want to say ‘thank you’ to all the fans out there that are following this fight and I’m sure it is going to be a sold-out stadium and it’s going to be a great atmosphere and a great night.’
