Police Officer Caught Having Sex With Solicitor In Interview Room

By Eric King-

A police officer from South Wales  has resigned after  being caught having sex with a solicitor in an interview room.

South Wales Police opened an investigation this week after the male officer and a female lawyer were found having sex in the interview room  at Cockett in Swansea normally reserved for interviewing suspected criminals and complaints of offences. The official line described the officer as being found in a ‘compromising position’ in the station at Cockett in Swansea.

South Wales police said an officer based in its Western basic command unit, covering Swansea and Neath Port Talbot, has handed in his notice. Unsurprisingly, the names of the officer in question has not been disclosed to the public. The police are often quick to the disclose the identities of individuals convicted of committing a crime, but adopt different principles when it comes to matters of police conduct.

When probed by The Eye Of Media.Com as to the reasons the identity of the officer in question has been withheld, a representative of South Wales police told The Eye Of Media.Com that they couldn’t explain why the names were withheld, adding that ”these decisions are taking at high managerial levels who follow specific policies and procedures.

The procedures followed to protect offending cops from identity should be transparent and known across the board of police officers, something this publication’s think tank team will be looking into and discussing over the coming week. South Wales police promised to look into this and get back to us.

In a statement, the police said: ‘South Wales Police Professional Standards Department is investigating an allegation of misconduct against a police officer based in the force’s Western BCU.

‘The officer has submitted their resignation and a misconduct hearing will be held in due course.’ The pair sure had a saucy time in that interview room, but were stupid not to know of the possibility of being caught. It is believed the law firm the solicitor works for was informed about her actions, but this is yet to be confirmed.
