Piers Morgan Announces 2 Year ITV Deal As Christmas Present To Uk

Piers Morgan announced  a new ITV contract to present Good Morning Britain and Life Stories as a present to Uk viewers. Referring to the deal as  a ‘Christmas present for the nation., Morgan  announced on his Twitter account that he will remain with the station for at least two more years after agreeing a new contract to keep him on the breakfast show with co-host Susanna Reid.m The deal also includes two more series of his interview show ‘Life Stories’.

The controversial presenter is known for his ultra assertive character and often interrupting  antics during interviews has made him a hit on British television after spending several years as editor of the Daily Mirror. Morgan is generally good at breaking down guests who fall short of his expected standards, mainly because of the main influence he has on his morning programme. However, he has also been accused of not always giving people a chance to speak before interrupting. His persistence in projecting his views during live air debates and undermining unsatisfactory guests has added interest to the morning show he runs with fellow talk show host, Susanna Reid.

Morgan, who has a house both in Los Angeles and the Uk, is a promoter or high standards, but has been found wanting on a few occasions by The Eye Of Media.Com, once by suggesting that he and Ms Reid would get drunk if the programme won a television awards, and another when he appeared to have condoned a deplorable act by users of Channel 4 social media platform to use vulgar language to insult Morgan as part of a Stand Up for Cancer donation. One tweet to the presenter read: “Dear @PiersMorgan. Hope you’re having a wonderful morning. Why don’t you go and f*** yourself.”

This week, Morgan is said to have told Lily Allen to “f*** off” on Twitter , apparently leading her to quit the social media platform. That was bad and disgraceful of Morgan whom despite all the criticism he dishes out, still has some growing up to do himself.
