New Data From ONS Show Higher Deaths In Unvacaccinated People

By James Simons-

New data from the Office for National Statistics states that the age-adjusted risk of dying with coronavirus was 32 times greater in unvaccinated people than in fully vaccinated individuals.

The statistics show that mortality rates were consistently lower for people who had received two vaccinations, compared with those who had received none or one vaccination.

The mortality rate was 849.7 out of 1,000 for people who were unvaccinated. This was compared to 26.2 out of 1,000 for people who had received a second vaccine dose.

It comes after the global death toll from Covid-19 topped 5 million on Monday, less than two years into a crisis that has not only devastated poor countries but also humbled wealthy ones with first-rate health care systems.

“This is a defining moment in our lifetime,” said Dr Albert Ko, an infectious disease specialist at the Yale School of Public Health. “What do we have to do to protect ourselves so we don’t get to another 5 million?”

The announcement has divided opinion among sceptics who point to questionnable comment made by government scientist, Patrick Vallance in July, who said 60% of those hospitalised by Covid had been unvaccinated after earlier the same day stating that 60% of those in hospital had been unvaccinated.

The fact he changed his earlier comments that same day caused both confusion and criticism among members of the public and professionals in this publication who scrutinise particular important and controversial the media in a bid for accuracy.

In relation to the U TUrn made by Vallance, and it’s potential effect on public confidence in the announcement by the Office Of National Statistics(OFS),  a spokesperson for The ONS told The Eye Of Media.Com: ”We are  a statistical institute and are statististically neutral, funded by the government, but we are independent of the government. We look at data that is  well informed.

Our statistics is based on the professional judgement of medical Gps in death certificate”.
