Glamour model Jodie Marsh has been charged with harassment of her ex-husband , James Placido. Ms Marsh from Great Dunmow in Manchester is due to appear at Chelmsford Magistrates court on November 9th
The celebrated model split up with her ex-hubby last year and removed him from her house in April to seal the split.
However, it turns out that the sexy self-professed ”bad girl” subsequently found out that the man with whom she walked the aisle has fleeced her father of thousands of pounds.
Jodie was charged with harassment last night after being arrested 4 months ago for sending a barrage of text messages to her ex-hubby demanding money to be returned. Her split with Placido has been characterised with a bitter exchange of words with the glamour girl who had a prenuptial agreement in place before their marriage, claiming that he has been making monetary demands since their split.

In an online tweet posted by the Essex-born star, she stated: ”you always thought I was a bad girl because I am covered in tattoos and ride Harleys. Now, I am the ultimate bad girl, having been arrested and charged…. see my twitter for details”. according to Jodie, her hubby’s lifestyle has now been downgraded and back to the caravan abode he once had before his life was temporarily turned around when she hit the jackpot by marrying Jodie Marsh. Now the woman who was bursting with joy after pursuing her short-lived marriage is feeling so let down and vulnerable that she is considering moving abroad completely for a fresh start. What a shame it is whenever celebrities make marriage decisions that turn out to be disastrous- this marriage lasted just 8 months!
A tweet from KTS talent said the allegations of harassment against Jodie Marsh are due to her texting her husband asking about thousands of pounds she owes her father. The precise amount allegedly owed has not been stated. It can be assumed that the text messages were enough to cause ‘alarm’ and ‘distress’, which would also appear to mean the CPS found them to be unjustified . This will be an interesting case that will be played out to a widely attended public gallery when the time comes.
Jodie Marsh was working at s Sringfellows when she first rose to fame. She participated in Essex wives in 2002, and has since graced UK television screens in programmes such as ‘the all-star talent show’, ‘its me or the dog’, Big brother’s big mouth, and Channel 4 ‘s celebrity show, come dine with me’ , and won a celebrity version of The Weakest link in 2006. A woman of several accomplishments in the celebrity and television world, she now faces both the battle of her marriage and a court case .
