Increasing number of Men Are Controlling Of Their Facebook Partners

By Kelly Toomey-

An increasing number of men are controlling the Facebook of their partners, against their will. Jealous men full of insecurity often make a habit of controlling the Facebook account of their partners for fear they may be cheating.

I once had a partner who took my password from me, allowing me to go on Facebook only with his permission. His suspicion and insecurity was nothing short of jealousy.

He couldn’t stand the fact that men sometimes would message me or send a friend request to me.

Although there was no cheating or evidence of cheating on my part, the simple possibility in his head that cheating may occur or be occurring, was enough to cause alarm bells in his mind.

In the last few months, other cases of Facebook control has.come toy attention through some of my friends.

These men somehow find their Facebook passwords, change the passwords, and use it as an instrument of bullying against their girlfriend. Such men should not be allowed to do that.

Common sense suggests that no woman should put posts of themselves with another man, even a friend, on Facebook. It creates too many problems. The partner will always imagine the worst and make such a big deal of this.

Jealous men need assurance that they still hold the premiere place in the heart of their lover.

Their fears and concerns about infidelity continually needs to be allayed. Telling them how much they mean to their woman goes a long way, though this assumes they are generally treating their woman right.

Accepting friend requests from complete strangers is always a bad idea, and unhealthy for any relationship.

As for the ex, he has no say. In fact every woman should go unfriend their ex the moment they are certain the relationship is over. However,  it is well known that many ex s refuse to take no for an answer,  and act just as jealous as a present boyfriend. For those, they need to be reminded that they are in the past.
