The Game has ordered to pay $7.13 million,following a court ruling by an Illinois court in a recent sexual assault case.
The Game, hosted by Jayceon Terrell Taylor, is a U.S television show in which various contestants compete for the chance to date other women up for grabs on the show.
Plaintiff Priscilla Rainey had previously sued the rapper for $10 million after accusing him of groping her multiple times when she was a contestant on his reality show ”She’s Got Game’in 2015. She claims The complainant claims to have been intoxicated with drugs and alcohol and was “out of control”.
The Game’s legal team, in its attempt to discredit the credibility of the complainant, went far to dig up Rainey’s history in prostitution, alleging that the complainant had spent time in a psychiatric ward. However, Rainey, the alleged victim, claimed the arguments were only made to provoke the jury and shame her.
However, the judge ruled in her favour, awarding the huge pay -out. The Game is not new to brushes with the law. In 2005, Taylor was arrested for assaulting a fan for disorderly conduct and later that year, also arrested for resisting arrest. In 2007, Taylor was again in court for threatening someone with a gun, and faced another lawsuit for assault and battery in 2012.
An insider of the show the show told the eye of media.com that the allegations are untrue and ”will be exposed in the appeal hearing.”An expert team is looking closely at the ruling and gathering more facts which with strong legal arguments will reverse the ruling”.
The Game blasted Rainey in an Instagram rant calling her a “transvestite” and a “dusty b*tch” who will never see the $10 million, or “anything close” to that amount.
“Don’t be fooled by these accusations or the dollar amount in the headlines ’cause I put that on my favourite aunties poodle this broad ain’t gettin’ sh*t ! Every girl on that show will tell u I never touched this chick or ever desired to be anywhere near her,” he wrote. “She got kicked off the show & as a result she filed this lame lawsuit which was probably her intentions before the show was ever even started.
She was begging for my attention the entire time we shot the show & was given the ultimate Major League Baseball CURVE ball so that upset her & made her lil wee wee hard so she did what all chicks like her do when life gives them no other options…. They sue you ! This is really a crying shame.
