Fury’s Dad’s Unwelcome Rant For Foreigner Usyk To Publicly Apologise For Aborted Heavyweight Clash Brit Is Blamed For

By Shaun Murphy-

In an unwelcome rant, Tyson Fury’s father, John, has called for Oleksandr Usyk to apologize on video, admitting that he was the one to blame for the recent failed negotiations for him to have a chance of fighting the ‘Gyspy King’ in December in Saudi Arabia

Fury was blasted by fans after the fight for the unified heavyweight showdown fell through. A video later emerged of Fury claiming former cruiserweight world champion, Steve Cunningham, whom Fury beat in 2013 was his toughest fight because of how slippery he was.

Now, Fury’s dad, who has been the most vocal supporter of his son and always claimed he is the best fighter in the world, is trying to convince the world that Usyk was at fault in the fight failing to materialise.

“Unless he gets on video and tells the truth of what he did, there’ll never be a fight for Usyk, never,” said John Fury to Secondsout.

“It’ll be when he apologizes for trying to put the blame on Tyson,” said John Fury, Tyson’s dad, to Secondsout, setting another condition that Oleksandr Usyk must agree to for him to have a chance to fight ‘The Gypsy King’ in December. “He’s trying to turn the public against Tyson Fury, which they’ve done a good job of because the public’s daft anyway. Look what wonders he’s done for this country. And look how quickly they turn and support a total foreigner.”

”They believe all this rubbish [but] if they knew as much as we do, they’d be a lot better off.

“The bottom line is they never wanted the fight. Anthony Joshua never wanted the fight, Usyk never wanted the fight.

“All he wants to, him, is think that Saudi is gonna pay him silly money.

“Well I got news for you, you’re going to wait a long time.

“Unless he gets on the video and tells the truth of what he did, there’ll never be a fight for Usyk, never be. We’ll just move on.”

John continued : “There’s only one liar and it’s him and his team.

“Because he didn’t want the fight. He thought he was going to tread where the grass is low.

“He heard through the grapevine that Tyson was injured from some other bulls***t source. And when Tyson offered him the fight, 30 per cent was too much for him.

“He still stood to make £17million at Wembley.

Doubt

John Fury conveniently looks past the obvious fact his son was dealing like a man scared to fight, and looking for a way out. Offering 30% to the undisputed heavyweight champion of the world was insulting and arrogant.

Boxing fans  and the vast majority of the public are convinced that Fury’s difficult dealing was the cause of the aborted fight, and his invincible image has evaporated in the eyes of most casual and avid boxing fans.  Nobody believes a word of John Fury in this matter, since he is completely committed to supporting his son.

His  below the belt comments that the public is supporting a foreigner is sour, and heavily misses the point that fans are interesting in fights and not talk.

Fury has always been tipped to defeat Usyk if the two share a ring,  but many fans have since changed their mind and now believe Usyk may have what it takes to beat the unbeaten gypsy king on points if they meet. This view is spreading like wildfire.

Fury’s father’s ridiculous demand does not wash with boxing fans, who simply want to see Fury prove what he has always claimed, that he is actually the best heavyweight in the world.

His bullish dealing with Usyk has dampened faith in his confidence in defeating the smaller man, and all fans at this stage wish is for a fight to be finally arranged, not his father once again providing possible excuses for the fight not to take place.

Usyk will be defending his four belts against Daniel Dubois in August, and if he prevails against Dubois, no excuses will be accepted from Fury not to face him.

Up until now, Fury has come the closest to Mohammed Ali when it comes to confidence and showmanship, but is beginning to look like a bad copy as Usyk recently pointed out in relation to the botched deal for the pair to meet in the ring and decide who the number one fighter in the world is.

Fury is the number one heavyweight in the Uk, but needs to prove he is the best in the world
