A former  University graduate from the world class London School Of Economics,  has launched an impressive ‘One Million Meals’ campaign. The campaign is aiming to donate a million free meals to key workers in the UK during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Bilal Bin Saqib,  an entrepreneur who graduated in Social Innovation and Entrepreneurship at the prestigious LSE in 2019, is supporting Nhs workers and other key workers with meals as they help the sick during this time of national crises. Saqib, 29,  co-founded the One Million Meals campaign with a group of social entrepreneurs, and aims to play his part in showing appreciation to the Nhs in these difficult times.

The campaign provides key workers like NHS staff, police, school staff, and firefighters with free meals during the COVID-19 crisis, by raising funds and working with food platforms, food chains and restaurants. Volunteers at  the One Million Meals operate by identifying demand from essential workplaces and then arranging deliveries from participating restaurants, with each meal costing less than £5 to provide. One Million Meals coordinated more than 5,000 meals to key workers across the UK in just one week.
