The unbeaten former boxing champ was visiting Birmingham in the UK with his entourage, ‘The Money Team’, when his vehicle was targeted. The shocking attack has never

The shocking attack has never occured in the U.S where the extravagant boxer hails from.
Witnesses posted pictures and footage of the parked van on fire, with the caption: ‘Birmingham for you! TMT #madness’. The motive behind the attck is unknown, but is mor elikely to be related to spite or jealousy. Mayweather says he ahs retired from the sport, but boxers like the money driven American can never really be taken at their word. Rumours of a comeback for a mega MMA fight have circulated for a while, but nothing concrete has yet been signed.
The American beat Manny Pacqao on points in 2015, and retired immediately after instead of taking on dangerous British fighter, kelly Brook. He appears to have dodged the fight. He shares a straight unbeaten record of 49 fights with Rocky Marciano, and was expected to have the one extra fight in order to beat his record, but chose to avoid it, making his legacy questionnable by hard core boxing fans and enthusiasts. The five division champion has won 15 world titles at 4 different weight classes in a career spanning 19 years between 1996 and 2015.
Mayweather is known to show off his wealth, and has several time posted footage of his massive collection of money online. The arsonist attack was criminal, but likely to be an expression of hate and jealousy. Money Mayweather, for all his cash, should have had a CCTV camera in the van, though it may well have been burnt in the flames. If his team forsaw the possibility of the arson attack, they could also have consciously parked near a place with CCTV cameras. He is credited with being the best pound for pound boxer in the world. The brash American partied with a flock of women last weekend at the posh Livello Nightclub at Newcastle. Joining him with the string of beauties were Abbie Holborn and Sunderland’s football genius, Jemain Defoe.
Mayweather criticised London heavyweight, David Haye, for his conduct before his latest fight with new heavyweight, Tony Bellew, adding that he did not even know David Haye was still fighting. Haye was eventually stopped by Tony Bellew in the 11th round of a thrilling contest at the 02 arena last Saturday.
Mayweather is on a Uk tour, and stops at the 02 next. where he will conduct a question and answer session. One of the questions he will face is why he did not fight Uk hitman, Kelly Brook and whether he really intends to take on an MMA contest.
