ESSEX MAN ADMITTED TO HOSPITAL AFTER LOSING £1100 HE WON AT BOOKIES

An essex man has been admitted into hospital after cutting his wrist when he realized he had just lost £1100 he won at the bookies because he didn’t walk away. 28 year old Matt Simpson won £900 at the bookies yesterday which grew to £1100 as he continued gambling But instead of walking away, he decided to try and increase his winnings until he lost everything. Winning large sums gambling is not a rarity but also not a regular occurrence for gamblers

The distraught man then took a knife which he used to slit his wrist 3 times, causing blood to profusely poor from his wrist unto the floor and the doors of his home in Westcliff. Ambulance were called to the property to rush him to hospital where he was treated for his self inflicted injuries. The incident is a reminder of the dangers of developing a gambling habit and always hoping for more instead of walking away with what you have whilst still ahead.

His friends told eye of media that he had turned into a recluse since it happened and was refusing to talk to anyone.
