DEADLINE FOR CRUCIAL EU REGISTRATION

DEADLINE FOR CRUCIAL EU REGISTRATION

BY BEN KERRIGAN

The Eu registration deadline of  Tuesday June 7 is absolutely crucial. Once that day passes, it will be too late to register.

Also important is the fact that turn out numbers for the landmark voting could be key in pushing the eventual figures and ratio between the leave and remain groups. Polls taken so far are based on the assumption that most people who participated in the polls will actually vote. The real worry for many brexit supporters and campaigners is that many in favor of Brexit are expected not to actually vote.

This should be worrying for Brexit supporters because a wide section of working class individuals are favor of leaving the EU, but a large percentage of those are too preoccupied in  a life of mediocrity that includes getting high on illegal drugs, drinking, and partying, that they tend to have an indifferent attitude to serious issues that can affect their future. The implication of this is that people from this bracket tend not to vote in general elections, opting to voice their views whilst drinking beer in a pub.

Most responsible people are likely to vote, and is the views of responsible people in an all important vote is the most beneficial contribution in this sort of historical landmark. There may also be some in favor of remaining with a flippant attitude to important matters, but not those who appreciate the potential impact the decision we collectively make on June 23 will have on our  immediate future. The crucial EU registration deadline which lapses at the end of tomorrow, June 7, is one that must not be missed. Everybody’s opinion is important , though more important is a broad understanding of the consequences or potential consequences of our vote, and an   wide understanding of the reasons and factors taking into account in determining which way we vote.

DEADLINE                                                                                                            REGISTER TO VOTE

It will be absolutely reckless for anybody to actually miss the opportunity to be counted in this vote, though those reckless enough to miss out on a vote don’t deserve to have their voices heard. This month’s EU referendum will affect all of us in different ways. If we stay, those issues raised about potential terrorists slipping into the country under human rights or freedom of movement principles may become have a practical effect on us as a nation if indeed we are unable to detect them on time. Similarly, if we leave, and all the gloomy predictions of an economic depression turn out to me true, those who failed to add their voices to the remain group will have themselves to blame. Their are many who believe their vote will make no difference, whilst ignoring the strong likelihood that there are many others thinking along similar lines, together making each person’s inclination not to participate makes a big difference when looked at as holistically, as a whole.

It is impossible to know with certainty precisely how things will turn out as a whole, though it is logical to conclude that some degree of economic ruin to our economy will follow a decision to leave. We may eventually recover and compensate for economic shocks, but the speed of recovery is the crucial question. If it will take a decade to recover, as some are predicting, then this must be weighed up against the expected rewards of being able to effectively control our boarders and have our judges say as final in all situations. That assumes that the issue of uncontrolled immigration is bigger than the economic blow to follow a brexit outcome on June 24, a balance that needs to be made. Yet, uncontrolled immigration is something many people loathe with a vengeance, hence the reason it has been such a political issue. This is why good quality recommendation for how the government will overcome this problem, otherwise it may constitute a huge deficit in the balancing of the real issues that should surround this vote.

There are still two weeks to go before the big day , but that will all be pointless for all those who miss out on the crucial EU Registration deadline. The reality is that there will probably be a number of people who right up till the last moment will not even know that there is a deadline to meet.
