Crack And Heroine Addicts Need Food Vouchers Not Benefits Cash

By James Simons-

Unemployed crack and heroine addicts need to receive food vouchers instead of abusing tax payers money.
Research conducted by The Eye Of Media.Com shows that a high percentage of crack addicts squander their benefits money on crack/and or heroine the same day they get paid.

A lot worse is the finding and conclusion that these addicts help the business of drug dealers to thrive by continuously paying them for their habit. Perpetual drug addicts steal  too from friends and family, as well as from public shops to maintain their habit, meaning that tax payers indirectly fund addicts to work against their own(the tax payers) best interests. Many dealers target their debtors by keeping a record of their pay day, to claim money owed to them on credit.

The addiction of  many of these drug addicts  is so strong that many addicts find themselves in a vicious cycle of repaying debts and purchasing their next high, an insult to tax payers whose legal obligation is to support those out of work who are seeking employment. A spokesperson from the Department Of Pensions told The Eye Of Media.Com that no provision for vouchers currently exists, but it could be looked into in future.

” Provision exists for certain people like gamblers or those who request it to receive a limited amount of their benefits in stages, and for their rent to go straight to their landlord, but nothing is in place for vouchers for known drug addicts. This may be a matter for The Secretary Of State to look at after the elections”.

A high percentage of drug addicts instantly spend their fortnightly or monthly benefits money on drugs, at the expense of eating, which is the fundamental subsistence basis on which they are given the benefits in the first instance. On top of their benefit money, most drug addicts eat in food banks and receive clothing from charity donations, then pursue a cycle of drug abuse after which they either beg or prostitute their body for money. Food vouchers will ensure they receive food and clothes vouchers worth the value of their benefit money.

Those who would be  campaigning for a change in the law say the only logical obstacle to implementing a radical change of the law is the challenge of establishing those on crack or heroine. Most boroughs have a record of heroine addicts on methodone, and the Department Of Pensions And Social Security can rely on some members of the public to report addicts who are known to be neglecting their children or stealing from shops. The practical issue is whether it would be cost effective to drug test every accused who denies being an addict. Other concerns include the importance of assisting addicts in receipt of methodone who are trying to give up, but who would avoid being on the system for methodone assistance if they knew they would have to be restricted to vouchers if their addiction were to come to the attention of the authorities.

It is still worth finding every possible solution to making it difficult for drug addicts to use tax payers money to fund a self destructive lifestyle of drugs that also contributes to the degeneration of society.

Researcher Sheila Mckenzie, who is leading the push for a change in the law said: drug addicts are a big liability to society and many also constitute a burden and nuisance to their partners. I know of drug addicts who steal from their poor partners regularly to fund their habit, leaving their family and kids without food all to support their drug habit. This has been made possible because successive governments are prepared to pay them regular benefits meant for unemployed people searching for work. These losers are not searching for work but constantly searching for their next high and their next victim. Something should be done to stop them”.
