CONTROVERSIAL TYSON FURY COMPARES HOMOSEXUALITY TO PAEDOPHILIA AND SAYS THE DEVIL IS STRONG

BY TIM PARSONS

Controversial heavyweight contender, Tyson Fury, has caused a stir by condemning homosexuality and likening it to paedophilia in a bizarre interview he gave yesterday. The giant gypsy heavyweight contender who fights for Wladimir Klitschko’s heavyweight title on November 28 talked of a darl evil world controlled by the devil and expressed the view that Paedophilia may one day be legalised just like homosexuality and abortion.

‘We live in an evil world,’ he declared. ‘The devil is very strong at the minute, very strong, and I believe the end is near. The bible tells me the end is near. The world tells me the end is near. Just a short few years, I reckon, away from being finished.

‘Abusing the planet, the wars in the Middle East, the famines, the earthquakes, the natural disasters, all these things are talked about 2000 years ago before they even happened. Prophesied. So now it’s all coming true…’

‘There are only three things that need to be accomplished before the devil comes home, Fury announces; one of them is homosexuality being legal in countries, one of them is abortion and the other one’s paedophilia. Who would have thought in the 50s and 60s that those first two would be legalised?

‘When I say paedophiles can be made legal, that sounds like crazy talk doesn’t it? But back in the 50s and early 60s, for them first two to be made legal would have been looked on as a crazy man again. If I would have told you 120 years ago, that a 1000-tonne aeroplane is going to float through the sky, a piece of steel — ludicrous.

IDIOT

‘When Christopher Columbus said the world was round, people said he’s an idiot. All these things that happen in the world, wise men already know they’re going to happen and they see what they really are.

‘Foolish people follow the system, get caught up in media news, what the government wants you to believe and all the higher powers want you to believe and go down the same path as all the sheep in the cattle market.’

‘This is a funny world we live in and an evil world,’ Fury says. ‘People can say, “Oh, you are against abortions, you are against paedophilia, you are against homosexuality, you’re against whatever”, but my faith and my culture is all based on the bible. The bible was written a long time ago, from the beginning of time until now, and if I follow that and it tells me it’s wrong, then it’s wrong for me. That’s just my opinion.

OPINION

Fury is right that everyone has an opinion. What he is wrong about is that it is not right to express your opinion in the way he does. Fury general conduct and character is far from anything the Bible teaches or what Jesus would have approved of. He is blatantly disrespectful, generally swears a lot to make his point, and generally not a likeable person. Only recently, he insulted former undisputed heavyweight champion Lennox Lewis, accusing him of being jealous of younger heavyweights today even though Lewis had done absolutely nothing to warrant Fury’s baseless views and comments.

OUTLANDISH

The 6ft 9 inches unbeaten fighter, is generally considered too much of an outlandish talker despite having not accomplished anything in the sport to justify his loud mouth. He is currently unbeaten in 24 fights, but has not faced any real tests in his career. His best opponent to date in Derek Chisora, who though a decent heavyweight, does not compare with any of the opponents Lennox Lewis, Mike Tyson, or Evander Holyfield had to face before being granted a shot at the heavyweight crown. Fury is known to have Ducked athletic 6ft 8 inch giant, David Price, who was knocking out everything in sight until veteran Tony Thompson stopped him in his tracks twice consecutively. Price would later take on unbeaten hard man, Erpen Teper from Germany in an attempt to redeem himself, only to be brutally knocked out in two rounds, spelling the end of his promise. Yet, Price can never be accused of taking relatively soft options. He took a few risks that unfortunately did not pay off.

Fury’s big mouth and bold confidence will finally be tested out when he meets Klitschko in just over 2 weeks time. It will perhaps be his first real test- one most experts expect him to fail. God help us all if he prevails. The world will be in trouble.
