By Aaron Miller-

President Trump was accused of celebrating the insurrection at the U.S congress in capitol hill as an armed mob invaded the house and subjected the entire senate to fear.

Juaiquin Castro joined a team of competent democrats committed to the course of crucifying Trump for the insurrection he incited on January 6 when the electoral college gathered to certify the election of Joe Biden.

Castro homed in an Trump’s words to the insurrectionists to ”stay peaceful” hours after they had already began their dangerous attack which threatened lives.  Castro stressed the fact  Trump’s words made no sense because these people were in no way peaceful.

Castroo insisted that the president didn’t want them to stop otherwise he would have condemned the violence. A step by step reflection on the co-ordinated plans among the protesters to meet on January 6 was shown to the trial, with the former president participating in encouraging the gathering on that day.

His comments came as previously unreleased security footage on Wednesday showed Republicans and Democrats alike running for their lives, with Mitt Romney and Chuck Schumer shown on camera fleeing through corridors to find a safe place to hide.Image result for Joaquin Castro at impeachment trial

Trump was also said to have known what the groups he was inciting were capable of.

Witnesses claimed the former U.S president was excited at the White House and wondered why everyone else wasn’t as excited as he was.

Multiple tweets and extracts from his speeches at rallies were used to support the prosecution case against Donald Trump. Evidence was shown in which president Trump was encouraging protesters to be at the capital on the very day congress was meeting to certify the electoral votes.

Juaiquion Castro told the impeachment trial that the president did was enjoying what was unfolding before the world, and was happy to endanger his own vice president, Mike Pence.

The well outlined presentations painted a picture of a president who knew the insurrectionists were capable of carrying out the kind of dangerous assault that they wreaked in Washington. The president’s tweets formed an important aspect of the prosecution as they were used to suggest that Donald Trump deliberately incited the insurrection which occurred.

Trump was said to have been watching the entire chaos on television, while also making contact with members of congress to slow down the count.

Reference was made to Mike Callagher’s appearance on television, calling for the president to call off the insurrection was also used in the prosecution case against former president Donald Trump.

He said he had not seen anything like that since he was deployed in Iraq.

Trump’s statement to protesters where he says ‘I know your pain, we had an election that was stolen. He later says ” we love you, you are very special’

Prosecutors say this alongside Trump’s inaction to protect his vice president or other members of congress shows him to have been gleeful of the attack.

The graphic footage alongside various social media tweets from the former president to the various groups about the January 6 protests, was use show a pre-meditated plan to incite the mob to attack the U.S government. Trump was criticised for at no point condemning the actions of the mob, before, during, or after the insurrection.
