Heroic nurses stepped in to save the life of Carrie Fisher after the Hollywood actress suffered a cardiac arrest 15 minutes before landing.

The outstanding nurses performed CPR on the Hollywood actress before she was taking to Ronald Reagan UCLA Center for treatment.
Carrie Fisher’s brother Todd Fisher, told reporters his sister was receiving care at a Los Angeles intensive care unit. He later retracted his earlier comments that she was in a stable condition, clarifying to Reuters ”its not fair to say fine. I’m not saying she’s fine or not fine, she is in the ICU”
The 60-year-old  Hollywood Star Wars actress had suffered a cardiac arrest 15 minutes before landing from her 11 hour flight from London to Los Angeles.

Cardio arrests occur when the heart stops pumping blood around the body. Cardio arrests are most commonly caused by a life threatening abnormal heart rhythm called ventricular fibrillation. Ventricular fibrillation occurs when the electrical activity in the heart becomes so chaotic that the heart stops pumping.

The most common cause is a life threatening abnormal heat called ventricular fibrillation, and are therefore a real cause for concern when they occur.
The news caused panic among her fans and colleagues in Hollywood. Now dramatic audio of the pilot radioing for medical help has been released.

The clip  reveals a medic at air traffic control asking for the status of the emergency victim, to which the pilot responds: “We have some passengers and nurses assisting the passenger. We have an unresponsive passenger.
“They are working on her right now and we are going to have her seated in about two minutes here.”The plane landed soon after midday Los Angeles time at LAX after an 11-hour flight.
