Caroline Flack’s boyfriend Lewis Burton has posted a moving tribute to the TV presenter, who committed suicide on February 15, the day after Valentine’s day.

Burton posted the warm photos with Caroline on Instagram featuring the couple cuddling up to each other. The post read: “It’s already been a month I love and miss you so much, I never thought that one day I will never be able to see or speak to you again.

“I wake up and think you’re going to be laying next to me or you’re going to call me in a minute. It just doesn’t seem real. I wish I could give you a kiss and a cuddle and say everything is going to be ok. I am so grateful I met you I just want to make you proud. X”.

Caroline’s friend Jaime Bradley also shared a video of the star singing and dancing with friends, and she made reference to being in this “blurry nightmare Black Mirror, upside down world” without Caroline for four weeks. Snaps of the pair singing and dancing together at an Elton John concert and a video which showed her belting out a tune in the back of a cab and celebrating at a bowling alley were also posted.

Jamie said the video was recorded by Caroline and sent to her in a bid to cheer her up when she was feeling down.

She wrote on Instagram :

“My phone keeps reminding me everyday this week that ‘one year ago on this day’ Caroline was in NY visiting me. Happy memories from simpler times. I stayed in one of the nights because I was feeling pretty low, so Carrie and Ciara sent me a video singing from the back of a cab to cheer me up.”She was the most thoughtful and supportive friend, always checking in if someone was down. You ALWAYS found the light in me that I couldn’t find.”

Referring to Caroline by her nickname, she added: “At this time, more than ever, look after each other. Choose Love & Be Kind. I love you Pockets.”

Caroline’s death sparked uproar amongst close friends and her legion of fans, with many blaming the press for her suicide.  A petition calling for Downing Street to establish a law against press bullying received over 850,000 signatories but doubts have been expressed as to the practicality of it.

Instead, a team of professionals and analysts have been quietly evaluating all the circumstances leading to her suicide.
