Calls For Kentucky Witches Who Cursed U.S Senator To Be Prosecuted

By Aaron Miller-

Witches from Kentucky, USA, who cursed a US senator for opposing one of President Joe Biden’s social spending bills should be prosecuted, some senators have suggested.

The idea of criminalizing witches who evidentially set out to effect a harmful outcome against another is being discussed quietly by U.S senators convinced that such act amounts designed spell misfortune amounts to a prosecutable offence worthy of enacting laws.

Two senators have anonymously told The Eye Of Media.Com that  considerations to make sorcery illegal in America are being examined, more so in relation to the open gathering of individuals to pronounce a curse on somebody  where the aim is to bring pain and blight the individual.

According to  the underlying thinking, arrangements  calculated to produce misery could lead people to pursue physical and sinister plans to disguise the manifestation of the spell in question.

Last Tuesday, a few days before christmas,  the witches called for co-conspirators to join them at a tree called The Witches’ Tree for a special ceremony to cast the spell on West Virginia Senator Joe Manchin(pictured)

Most curses contain gruesome phrases and chants directed as not just at destabilizing a particular aim, but at bringing harm and destruction to a person’s life , wellbeing, or career.

‘Such processes should be illegal because of their stated aim to wreak harvoc.  People can believe what they want, but when a group of people express a plan to meet and create danger or evil, the underlying intention should be made illegal’, one senator said.

Another spoke of the ‘placebo effect’  and the nocebo effect , the latter of which could result from the target of malicious curses being aware of malign plans to bring harm to them. Placebos can exert enough power to mimic  the effect of real treatments to the physical body, in contrast with the nocebo effect which can generate negative feelings of pain, misery

The placebo effect is used in medical research and psychology research to learn more about the physiological and psychological effects of new medications, and applies to the phenomenon of witchcraft where the an individual may be affected by the knowledge that he or she is being cursed.

The U.S  does not have much of a history  in witchcraft prosecutions, but prosecutions against witchcraft  in Europe rose dramatically during the late sixteenth century, peaked in the middle third of the seventeenth century, and declined rapidly thereafter, gradually ceasing altogether by the end of the eighteenth century. The rise was driven by the dissemination of the late-medieval demonology and the “scissors effect”

The call to curse Manchin  came after he confirmed he would not support the president’s bill that would provide $2.2 trillion (£1.6 trillion) for a variety of social benefits.

The Build Back Better Act contains money to fight climate change, subsidize childcare, and lower the cost of prescription drugs.

In 2018 , witches gathered in an occult bookstore in Brooklyn, New York, on Saturday to place a hex on the supreme court justice Brett Kavanaugh. cost $10, with half the proceeds going to women’s and LGBT charities, have already sold out.

The event is not out of the ordinary for Catland Books, which describes itself as “Brooklyn’s premier metaphysical boutique and event space”. They have previously held ceremonies to hex Donald Trump as well as a “hex your ex” ceremony on Valentine’s Day.

Manchin’s vote will be crucial to passing it through the US Senate, hence the witches’ harsh reaction.

To promote the solstice curse the witches used a Facebook page called ‘Louisville’s Witches’ Tree’, according to CityBeat.

The page represents an actual tree witches use for all sorts of jiggery-pokery in the area, according to local legends. Local author David Dominé said the Facebook page is run by local witches.

It was these witches Dominé contacted when a witch called Joyce got in touch with him to promote the event.

All attending witches were asked to bring a lantern and sprig of evergreen with them as the cobbles are awfully loose around Park Avenue and Sixth street.

Between 7.00pm and 8.00pm the witches are said to have circled the tree, raising chants against the democratic senator.

In 1542 , the Uk Parliament passed the Witchcraft Act which defined witchcraft as a crime punishable by death. It was repealed five years later, but restored by a new Act in 1562.

A further law was passed in 1604 during the reign of James I who took a keen interest in demonology and even published a book on it. The 1562 and 1604 Acts transferred the trial of witches from the Church to the ordinary court.
