Boris Johnson Says Corbyn Is Biggest Threat To British Army

By Tony O'Riley-

Boris Johnson  has presented opposition leader, Jeremy Corbyn as the biggest threat to the British army. The prime minister suggested that Mr Corbyn wants the armed services to be “banned” and that he supports “the enemies of this country”.

Putting Corbyn on the same side as enemies of the British people was a strong move to discredit the Labour leader as unsuitable to lead this country. Johnson’s words could have had the potential of hitting multiple minds at the same time, bringing many of them instantaneously against Corbyn. The prime minister was basically kicking him like a can away from power. How will Corbyn fight back?

The Labour leader wants to cause the same or even bigger upset than was caused against Theresa May, and plans to launch a competitive fight for the gates of Downing Street. Johnson has used the army as a strong force against Corbyn weakening Corbyn’s psychological base as he went on the political assault.

IMPORTANT

Describing the UK as the “second biggest power in NATO” and “massively important for the stability of the world”, Johnson presented the Uk as absolutely fundamental to the world. “The UK is absolutely fundamental to the security of the world at the moment,” he said.

“For us to walk away from our armed service, to lose our commitment, to throw away our nuclear deterrent… these are not sensible policies for the UK.

Johnson said: “When you look at what we’re doing for veterans, look at what Johnny [Mercer] and his team are doing at the Ministry for Veterans, we support veterans.”

PROMISE

Johnson’s presented the Tory party’s pledge to offer personnel “wrap-around” childcare for four to 11-year-olds. The Uk prime minister also assured former personnel applying for public sector jobs of an interview, and promised to enforce railcards for ex-servicemen and women.

The Chancellor of the Exchequer said the Government will provide £2.2 billion of funding for the Ministry of Defence over the next two years. The British army are generally adored and appreciated for their service to the country away from their families.

The British army has also been a little bit marred by allegations of bullying and unlawful offences. The British government say all cases are always investigated through a robust system in place. Johnson has promised the army that he will legally protect them from unproven historical allegations that keep a painful could of suspicion hanging over their head .

VOTE

Members of the army will vote for the Tories in abundance. How that measures up with expectations that Corbyn’s manifesto on education has appealed to a high percentage of teachers remains an estimate, but most polls put Johnson ahead at the moment, with no sign of trailing. Each day may pull its own surprises, but the Tories are still in front.
