Artistic Painting Of Missing Serviceman Corrie Mckeague

By Lucy Caulkett-

An impressive artist has drawn a painting of a missing serviceman on the back of a van.

And the eye of media.com was particularly contacted by a family friend of missing Corrie to help spread the search of the missing serviceman, Corrie Mckeague. News of Corrie Mckeagure’s disappearance appears to have escaped all our writers despite some of the coverage it has already received by some of the mainstream media.
Disappointing really, but here we are at last with our own input to help the search.
Rick Minns, from Long Stratton often using dirty vehicles as a canvass for his talented artwork.
This time, his artistic talent has been used by the 42-year-old to create an image of missing service woman Corrie Mckeague, who has not been seen since September.
Minns wants the appeal to spread as far as possible in order to trigger someone’s memory about the missing 23-year-old. Placing her picture at the back of a Flower Vision van will raise the chances of her being found or somebody seeing it who knows something coming forward.
Mr Minns told the eye of media.com: “ We are hoping to draw as much attention as possible. His disappearance is worrying and somebody somewhere must know something. This van goes to Bury St Edmunds and Sudbury on a daily basis, so hopefully lots of people will see it.
“I hope that it gets the issue back into people’s minds and they start talking about it again.”
Minn was approached to do the painting last week by a member of the Facebook page set up to find the serviceman.
Mr Mckeague from Dunfermline in Fife, has been missing since a night out in Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk on September 24.

Missing On Night Out

Corrie Mckeagure was last seen on a night out in Bury on September 23 but lost his friends on the night.  He bought a takeaway from Mama Mia in St Andrew’s Street North after midnight, and later fell asleep in the doorway of Hughes Electrical Store, in Brentgovel Street, for a couple of hours.
The last sighting of him was on CCTV walking down Brentgovel Street and turning right into an alleyway opposite Short Brackland, behind Greggs and Superdrug. He basically disappeared from the face of the earth . The serviceman’s mobile phone was traced to the Barton Mills area, but the Nokia Lumia still has not been found.
His Uncle Mr Wringe  plans to conduct a public search for the missing serviceman later this month, under the guidance of trained professionals.
“We will also be looking to extend the delivery of leaflets out to Thetford, Mildenhall and Lakenheath, we’ll be approaching USAF (US Air Force) for support with this next week,” he said.
Corrie Mckeague’s disappearance is very mysterious and has got a lot of people wondering exactly what may have happened to him. It appears unlikely that Corrie Mckeague voluntary disappeared without any trace or contact with his colleagues or family.
Although the search for Corrie Mckeague is very important and at the heart of this article, it also draws attention to the seeming undervalued talent of the artistic talent of Rick Minns.
Missing Corrie Mckeague has been covered by the BBC and a number of online sites, but nothing beats the live visual of an artist painting when a van is driving past especially as we know there are many people who neither watch the news nor read online sites. The extra mile of the artist work goes a long way, and the eye of media.com really hopes Corrie Mckeague is found well and safe.
