Arthur Labinjo Hughes’s Step Mother Placed In Isolation Following Conviction For Murder

By Lucy Caulkett-

Arthur Labinjo-Hughes’ evil stepmother has been placed in isolation for her own safety, following her conviction for the murder of the young child.

Emma Tustin, 32, was found guilty of the six-year-old’s murder and sentenced to 29 years at HMP Peterborough.

She killed little Arthur by repeatedly slamming his head on a hard surface after she and his father Thomas Hughes, 29, force-fed him with food laced with salt.

Uproar about the murder was more intense, after it emerged that social services had missed important opportunities to and take the toddler away from their evil abusers.

Tustin has been given vulnerable prisoner status, meaning she has no contact with anyone other than prison officers.

She will now wash, eat and exercise alone for her own safety after she became a target behind bars.
A source told The Sun: “Every effort is being made to protect her from attack. Like it or not, prison officers have a duty to keep order and the rule of law inside.

“In her case, they’re gritting their teeth to do it but she’s a massive target.

“It’s only a matter of time before someone takes a chance to do her in.”

The trial, which saw Tustin convicted of murder and Hughes of manslaughter, caused disgust across the country when the cruel treatment Arthur was subjected to by the evil pair in the run up to his death came to light.

The poor child cried ‘No one loves me’, as he struggled to walk across the room.

Another video footage showed the evil couple eating an ice cream in the same room while Arthur stood alone in the hallway.

The killing, as well as the murder of Star Hobson in West Yorkshire, was a reminder to citizens of the Uk, that very inhumane people exist in our society.

Arthur died on June 16 2020, having suffered a total of 130 injuries all over his body including ‘unsurvivable’ brain damage.

Tustin was jailed for life with a minimum term of 29 years for Arthur’s murder, while Hughes was found guilty of manslaughter and sentenced to 21 years.

The boy was forced to stand in the hallway for hours on end and was poisoned with salt.
