His wife had told earlier hearings in the court under cross examination, that he had lied to him that the girl was 16 years of age.
Johnson was too stupid to figure out that his wife would eventually find out her true age from the court case.
She had in past times had arguments with her football husband for texting other women. The ultimate crime and punishment awaited him.
Johnson sent the school girl several what’s App messages, and was not intelligent enough to see he was leaving damning evidence against himself.
Worst of all, the Sunderland player checked on google what the legal age of consent one-something almost every 15 year old boy and girl would be expected to know. Johnson in conducting this search, inadvertently presents himself as having a very low intelligence quotient (iq).
ARROGANT
Johnson’s level of stupidity makes one wonder what kind of teenager he was? Didn’t he learn anything from school?At one stage, the footballer was becoming unduly confident and arrogant, to the extent in one of the earlier hearings, telling one of the guards ”I hope this is over by Friday, it’s getting boring”.
However, his arrogance was eventually knocked as the evidence against him mounted. Eventually, he tasted the consequences of his perversion, crashing his career and prospects forever.
His wife earlier told the court she had left him, so his marriage has crashed with his sexual offense. He will have many tough nights mentally in jail. He has nobody else to blame but himself.
