Ufo age of disclosure doc claims Trump will soon expose decades of government cover-ups

By Aaron Miller-

A new “age of disclosure” is allegedly upon us, driven by former intelligence officials, bipartisan lawmakers, and a burgeoning documentary movement, all coalescing around one startling claim: the public has been systematically and profoundly lied to for 80 years about the presence of non-human intelligence on Earth. This presence is all too important to ignore because of the potential wider implications of these none human intelligence.

The directors of the documentary also makes a prediction that the U.S president, Donald Trump will soon expose decades of cover-ups by the U.S government. Indeed, if any president has the volatility to suddenly break a trend of concealment, most would guess that Donald Trump has the makings of one to do the unthinkable and have his name in the record books.

However, Trump, like all presidents, still has people he listens to and who advise him. Although he has the character of one who can be hell bent on doing his own thing.

The Age of Disclosure builds on years of congressional activity and testimony surrounding the presence of Unexplained Anomalous Phenomena (or UAP, a rebranding of the stigmatized UFO), in the United States.

The topic of unidentified flying objects (UFOs)—now officially referred to in government parlance as Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena (UAPs)—has been the domain of fringe theorists and science fiction enthusiasts.

It was a subject met with smirks and eye-rolls, effectively neutralized by an effective government campaign of obfuscation and ridicule. Yet, a seismic shift has occurred.

This new narrative is not emerging from hushed conversations in dimly lit basements but in the halls of Congress, in major news publications like The New York Times and The Guardian, and in a recent high-profile documentary, The Age of Disclosure.

The central thesis is that a “deep state” or “silence group” has long covered up interactions with and retrieved technology of non-human origin, creating a sophisticated disinformation effort to silence whistleblowers and maintain an unprecedented level of secrecy.

The film, directed by Dan Farah, features 34 military and intelligence veterans with direct knowledge of or experience with UAPs. They all  testify to the presence of alien flying objects and, for some, extraterrestrial beings on Earth.

Some also allege a government cover-up of supposedly paradigm-shifting information – an effort that the film’s lead subject, Luis Elizondo, a member of the government’s Advanced Aerospace Threat Identification Program (AATIP), deemed “the most successful disinformation campaign in the history of the US government”, representing “80 years of lies and deception”.

Dan Farah, the director of the film, which hits select theatres and Amazon Prime streaming on Friday, said it’s possible the president of the United States could soon reveal that humans aren’t alone, he told Entertainment Weekly.

“I think it’s only a matter of time before the release of this film is followed by a sitting president stepping to the podium and telling the world, ‘We’re not alone in the universe,'” Farah told the outlet. “It’s the most significant moment a leader could possibly have.” The Independent has asked the White House for comment.

The most significant development in this narrative is the nature of the sources now making these claims. The “age of disclosure” movement is spearheaded by individuals with impeccable credentials, which has significantly eroded the long-standing stigma surrounding the topic.

Luis Elizondo, the former head of the Advanced Aerospace Threat Identification Program (AATIP), a once-secret Pentagon initiative, resigned in 2017 to protest government secrecy and has been a leading voice in the disclosure movement. He claims the U.S. has recovered “unknown technology and biological remains of nonhuman origin”.

Also, David Grusch, a  former intelligence official who has provided classified testimony to Congress, alleging the government has run a “multi-decade” secret program to retrieve and reverse-engineer downed non-human craft.  High-profile political figures, including Senators Kirsten Gillibrand (D-NY), Mike Rounds (R-SD), and former Senator Marco Rubio (R-FL), have lent their voices and credibility to the call for transparency, citing national security concerns and their own struggles to access classified information.

These are not the typical figures associated with UFO enthusiasts. Their involvement has forced mainstream media and government bodies to take the subject seriously, moving UAPs from “woo-woo” speculation to a genuine national security and scientific question. The recent documentary, The Age of Disclosure, effectively uses 34 such talking heads to allege a deep state conspiracy, leveraging their credibility to push the narrative that the public deserves to know the truth.

The core of the disclosure argument is that the government, primarily the U.S., has engaged in an 80-year cover-up, a campaign of “lies and deception”. This alleged operation has been multifaceted,  The government is accused of a “sophisticated disinformation campaign” to make people skeptical of UAPs and silence whistleblowers.

A recent Wall Street Journal report even suggested the military intentionally spread alien rumors to cover up top-secret stealth aircraft testing at Area 51, a claim skeptics in the disclosure community have dismissed as an attempt to discredit legitimate witnesses.

Information about UAPs is allegedly so highly classified and “siloed” that even high-ranking officials and sitting presidents have been kept in the dark.
: By creating a cultural stigma around the topic, authorities could effectively dismiss any serious discussion or reporting, labeling witnesses as unreliable or mentally unstable.

The motivation for such an extensive cover-up, according to advocates, may have shifted over time. Initially, it might have been Cold War anxieties or fears of public panic. Now, some argue the secrecy is a national security risk, as it prevents a proper understanding of potentially adversarial, non-human technology operating in U.S. airspace.

Despite the high-profile testimony, the disclosure movement faces significant pushback. Critics and skeptics argue that while anomalous phenomena may exist and warrant investigation, the leap to “non-human intelligence” and a vast government conspiracy is a leap too far.
Despite the claims of retrieved craft and non-human biological remains, no verifiable, indisputable physical evidence has been presented to the public. Most visuals remain “grainy videos and UFO blurry photographs”.

Prosaic Explanations

The All Domain Anomaly Resolution Office (ARO), the current Pentagon body investigating UAPs, has received over 1,600 reports. Hundreds have been resolved as commonplace objects like balloons, drones, or weather events.

As critics of The Age of Disclosure documentary noted, the film presents “the most convincing argument you can make without showing any actual evidence”.
The counter-argument to the cover-up narrative is that secrecy might sometimes be necessary to protect sensitive national security programs from adversaries like China or Russia. What one person calls a cover-up, another calls prudent classification.

The “age of disclosure” suggests we are at a tipping point. The push for the UAP Disclosure Act, a legislative effort aimed at forcing transparency, highlights the ongoing battle between those who believe the public has been “kept in the dark” and the inertia of decades of government secrecy.

The truth, as ever, remains elusive. Whether the ongoing push will result in “the greatest paradigm shift in human history” or simply fade into another chapter of unfulfilled promises in the long history of ufology remains to be seen.

The conversation has undeniably changed, with the public demanding maximum transparency from a government that, by many accounts, has a long tradition of disbelief and suppression when it comes to the unexplained phenomena in our skies.

But some explanation to the unexplained is imperative for us rational beings who must not be indefinitely kept in the dark. The most conscious of us are in no doubt of their existence, but what we still don’t know, and need to know is what they are, and what their limitations, if at all any, are.

Researchers on the topic are numerous, so are convictions  about the entirety of their operations. Many have strong views and differing  high analytical perspectives about what these mysterious objects represent, including their overall purpose. What most ufologists first want is an official recognition of the existence of aliens, which will make speculation rife about what they are about.
