By Tim Parsons-
Former world heavyweight champion, Tyson Fury, has launched a typical but cowardly foul mouthed attack on rivals, Anthony Joshua and Deontey Wilder. Fury’s attack on Joshua was in response to the Londoner, who holds four of the heavyweight title belts, expressing an interest in fighting him should the Wilder fight fail to eventually materialize in April 2019.
Boxing fans will be hoping the fight does happen, but Joshua, 28, has to first beat Alexander Povetkin when the pair clash in Wembley on September 22. Povetkin, who has never been stopped in a 35 fight career, only has one loss to his name by Wladimor Klitschko- the former undisputed world champion. However, Joshua already has his sights on Fury, and instead of the big gypsy man welcoming his offers, he spoke like a person trying to avoid fighting Joshua. Tyson Fury has previously expressed an interest to face Joshua immediately, but he changes like the weather, making fans wonder if anything he says should be taken seriously at all. He once said he was ready to face Joshua on his first fight back, but now he is talking the opposite.
Fury said: “I keep hearing [Deontay] Wilder saying if he doesn’t fight [Anthony] Joshua he’ll fight Fury and Joshua saying if he doesn’t fight Wilder he’ll fight Fury.
“You know what you can go and do, suck my balls you pair of bums.
“You think I’m a dosser for somebody do you? Live your own life, fight your own people and crack on.
“I’ll fight you when I’m ready, not on your time – on my time.
“You’re a pair of bums and I’m the Lineal champion, always remember that – dossers [is] what you are.
“See you in a bit, fight each other and stop being a pair of s*** houses and that’ll decipher who gets to challenge the Lineal heavyweight champion, being me.
“Remember that, bums, peace out now, have a good training camp and grow a set of nuts, thank-you very much and good evening.” Fury has already has Dillian Whyte(who faces Joseph Parker on Saturday) express interest in fighting him this September. Whyte told iFLTV: “I’ve asked to fight Tyson Fury [in] September this year. I’ve asked to fight Tyson Fury a few times, we made an approach.“We were trying to get this work [to] September [in] but Tyson’s not ready, right now I would steamroll that sucker.”It took him about three rounds to get his mojo back against that tomato can [Sefer Seferi] he fought the other day.
Anthony Joshua: Ready For Fury
Responding on Twitter, 29 year old Fury wrote: “If @DillianWhyte is in talks for a fight with the Gypsy king 👑 I’d like to know who he & his team are talking to??? Maybe Santa 🎅“& never mind me focus on Joe Parker. Hardest fight of your career, & as for the steamroller comment Then you woke up. Good luck.” Tyson Fury had been away from the sport for about two years before he made an unimpressive comeback against a nobody in June. Fury’s promoter, Frank Warren, has said he plans to fight his man regularly to shake off the rust, and he doesn’t plan to test him with anything serious until he has had a few fights. The big worry is that Fury is not acting the confident man he usually is. He should be prepared to fight Joshua next April, and in fact be welcoming the opportunity. He shouldn’t be avoiding Dillian Whyte who is 8 inches shorter than him.
Dillian Whyte: Claims he would destroy Fury
September may be too soon for Fury to face Whyte, but how about proposing to face Dillian Whyte in January 2019? He has shown no interest in Bellew and is acting like a coward, not the warrior he claims to be. Fury next faces Italian Fiancesco Pianeto in August, but this is another push over who will barely break a sweat from Fury’s body.
Fury needs to start acting like the tough guy he claims to be instead of behaving like a coward who wants to avoid all the real heavyweights and feast on useless no hopers for too long. Tyson Fury must remember that he will have to eventually face somebody real, and protect his reputation from being destroyed completely.
