Two Drug Dealers Jailed After Boasting In Rap Song

By James Simons-

Two drug dealers have been jailed for suspected drug dealing after cops discovered a rap video boasting about their criminal endeavors. 18 year old Caleb Umeniyora, 18, of Cotswold Gardens, East Ham, and Tristan Sotange, 18, of Botha Road, Plaistow,  were jailed for two years and five months  after admitting possession with intent to supply cocaine and heroine. The pair had foolishly rapped about being drug dealers on a mobile phone footage seized by officers. It is incredible that drug dealers would incriminate themselves in a rap song, especially with all the criminals in the past that have been incriminated through rap songs.

Police caught the pair after they visited a flat in Chatam, Kent, as part of a routine check on a resident , only to discover the suspects with 43 wraps of heroin and 35 wraps of crack cocaine . The drugs has an estimated total street value of between £780 and £1,560 in December 2017. The news of their court sentence was brought to the attention of The Eye Of Media.Com by an associate of theirs who had been surveyed by us during a research on drug dealers and drug addiction in 2017. The research was paused in November 2017 and due to be resumed briefly in June.

The associate warned The Eye Of Media.Com not to publish their pictures despite the fact they are accessible on the Kent police website and would have been by those who view the website. ” These guys were living the high life, he said. They shouldn’t have been rapping about their drug activities, but they just didn’t think or care. They must have not thought the Feds(police) would see it, but they done the crime, so they will do the time. They are not actually bad guys, they were only dealing to support their families and set up a better future for themselves”, he added. Interesting!

The pair were arrested on suspicion of drug offences and the incriminating videos. The videos included clips of them preparing drugs in the flat, were found on their mobile phones. It is incredible that drug dealers would incriminate themselves in a rap song especially with all the criminals in the past that have been incriminated through rap songs.

Drug dealing is becoming a fashionable criminal activity among many youths across the Uk because of its potential fast revenue. They fail to consider the risks and dangers that accompany their selfish trade, especially that of rival dealers prepared to shed blood to earn quick money from the criminal sweats of other dealers.

Det Con Rob Hemsley, investigating officer, said: “Both men were brazen enough to film themselves with the drugs as well as rapping about being drug dealers but ultimately these videos have brought about their downfall.

“Umeniyora and Sotonge had no choice but to plead guilty due to the evidence officers had secured against them.

“They targeted a vulnerable resident in order to use their flat as a base from where they could do drug deals and didn’t care about the impact this had on the victim.”
