Yorkshire Police Warn Residents To Stay Home As They Arrest Biker

Yorkshire Police chased a group of motorbike and squad riders and arrested one of them after a large number of motorists indulged in dangerous driving. In a Facebook post, the team said: “Officers obtained details of those warned. If these people are found not adhering to the new regulations they will be fined and/or summonsed to court.”

The Leeds District  Road Bike Team has also recently been conducting patrols at local parks and residential areas, warning people to stay abide by the rules laid by the government.

Under powers given to the police, police can order members of the public to go home, leave an area or disperse a group, using “reasonable force, if necessary” and can make arrests if someone refuses to comply. Additionally, the police can impose fines to those who ignore the tougher restrictions on movement could be hit with a £60 fine, which could be reduced to £30 if paid within 14 days . A £120 for a second offence.hose who do not pay could be taken to court and risk facing costs for unlimited fines.

The  only reasons people are allowed to leave their house as well as to get food and medical supplies for you, your household or vulnerable people, are to get money and to exercise.
