Footage of a woman caught eating cereal on the wheel in Birmingham is spreading online.
The footage was captured on a dashcam by a driver on his way to work on the busy Dudley Road in Birmingham .
The female motorist was balancing a bowl of cereal and a spoon on her knee while hands free
The stunned driver who filmed the footage told reporters: “I was driving to work in the morning when I looked over and saw a woman clearly eating from a bowl of cereal when driving.
“The first thing I thought was how stupid and dangerous it was! Breakfast is the most important meal of the day, but driving with both hands on the wheel is more important. if she had an accident,she would be crying over spilt milk
He added: “I’d personally never eat anything while driving, it could really distract you from driving as well as stopping you from being able to be fully in control of the steering wheel.
Eating and driving is almost as bad as drinking and driving. How stupid can anybody be to be eating a bowl of cereal whilst driving? Quite clearly, this woman failed to appreciate the danger she was putting herself and other motorists through by driving and eating at the same time. She is quite lucky no damage resulted from her careless actions, the potential consequences could have been fatal. Reckless women like this deserved to be banned from the roads because they pose a danger to other motorists.
She had the option of eating at her dining table before she left home, or waiting until she arrived at her destination. The unnamed woman must have been rushing out and so hungry that she could not wait to get to her destination. Now, she is the laughing stock of the nation and what would top it up is if someone can provide her name.
