Why Harry and Meghan’s Book Must Have Integrity To Carry Sway

By  Terry Edwards And Sheila Mckenzie-

The upcoming book by Prince Harry and Meghan Markle must have integrity to carry legitimate sway and not be purely biased. The couple should give a fullest and fairest picture they can, but surely some things should stay private.

Integrity in the case of a book like this requires genuinely featuring the other side of the story, not just reflecting one side.

Recent reports from royal aides say they fear the Sussexes plan to misrepresent the future king is a cause for concerns for the royals  should worry us too. Royalists will not like it, and it could reduce the image of the Monarchy. A book needs to show prince William and Kate Middleton’s side too, so readers can make their minds up with all the necessary information.

Claims from a source to the Mirror that aides had been discussing among themselves that the book could likely only show Harry and Meghan’s side of the rift.

We live in a world where Scams and fraud are the norm rather than the exception, and this is manifest in different aspects of society. People historically have always acted in a way which purely suits their agenda instead of fairly considering the other side of every story.

The recent black lives matter protest and its underlying reason is a typical example of this. Their protest is against the unfair way the British Empire manipulated their position in exploiting Africans during the slave trade, with the likes of our former inspiring prime minister joining the bandwagon of ideologies that claimed Europeans were the superior race. Even if the latter view were true or believed to be true, this was never a justification to take their place, as William Churchill believed.

Balance

Yet, there is another side to the protests. I very much enjoyed the article on this site last week by Gabriel Princewill in which he balances out the reasons for the black community not to protest excessively and ignore the disunity and internal prejudicial practices that has also persisted among black people for decades.

Gabriel pointed out that African leaders have themselves subjected many of their people to atrocious acts in history. Trying to correct the situation in a progressive way is a higher level of consciousness needed.

Integrity therefore requires both sides to acknowledge the poison that the struggle for control and  power can have , and which can be detrimental to integrity. Moving forward should improve the situation, not worsen it.

Fair

In the case of Prince Harry, Meghan Markle, and Prince William, all sides have to be fair to one another. Integrity is lost without that. A book by the Sussexes must necessarily make a fair attempt to reflect Prince William’s side of the story before criticising him. A team from The Eye Of Media’s Thinktank has been analysing segments of their story on a periodic basis.

We have observed that the strain in Prince William and Prince Harry’s relationship began when William asked his brother to examine the motives of Meghan Markle in wanting to marry him and become a part of the royal family. Prince Harry took exception to the suggestion, and considered his brother was trying to kill the relationship before it started.

Feel

Most  united in concluding that Prince William had a right to feel as he did and caution his brother about being sure of Meghan Markle’s motives. William may hypothetically have been wrong in expressing his concerns, but he had a right to express whatever concerns he had about Meghan. He may also have been right, depending on all the true facts.

Without an understanding of this truth, everything that follows from this background is easily skewed.

Performance Targets

I suggest that one of the problems that began the downward slide of deliberate or careless misrepresentation of facts, was the introduction of Darwinian natural selection in the form of performance targets. We heard anecdotal stories about trolleys in hospital corridors being reclassified as beds. A book about Megxit has to have integrity and carry logical weight.

This means truth and fairness going side by side. Every detail surrounding the rift that has come between the two royal brothers from reliable sources have been scrutinised by some of the team on The Eye Of Media.Com and some will be revisited and debated.

Clashes

Known clashes between Kate Middleton and Meghan Markle have also not been left untouched. Reliable claims that Kate Middleton once confronted Meghan Markle for ordering house maids about in the Palace is one interesting example. If true that Meghan, being new in the palace was ordering the maids in the palace about, this no doubt called for rebuke. Middleton took that position, though it is questionable whether she was the right person to do so.

Perhaps someone senior in the royal family should have handled that misunderstanding.  Maybe it was too complicated for them. Analysts and members of the pubic will decide. Once things got out of hand between the individual relationships, some of the potential relational bonds were doomed to failure.

Competition

Could it all revolve around a competitive spirit between  some of the parties, not properly addressed in the circumstances?

Darwinian competition exists now in education, transport and the power industry. Schools are in direct competition in leagues tables. Where childhood should be a joy and a preparation for life, it has in some schools, become a heartless system for programming robots. It’s all about looking the best instead of being the best you can be.

Control

When people find themselves in charge of something valuable, the tendency to control it can grow. One person in charge inevitably mushrooms into a hierarchy. In reality, expanding our consciousness and objective analytical ability in determining how we behave us important.

How we live, how we treat others is more significant than what we believe. The question that both Prince Harry and Prince William should ask each other is ”have I treated my brother the best way I can, given his actions about which I am disappointed?

Hurt

One of the best ways to view life is to see ourselves like pilots training on a simulator. We fly missions for planned periods of time. This means that after death, we can replay our story from our point of view and as others experienced us. This has got to be a healthy way of seeing things even if we don’t believe it. It gives us a balanced way of seeing things as they really are, and asking ourselves if there is a more effective way of dealing with people.

Experience
In this hypothetical scenario, those who hurt  others will experience the other person’s pain as if it were their own. No world leader would start a war if he or she knew how they would have to experience the totality of the suffering they create before moving on to the next phase of their existence. Most people think they only have one life so make the most of it.

In a sense, it is true that we only have one life but this may just the schoolroom. If the universe’s software delivers the consequences of our choices, then why we do things is less important than what we do.

Story
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have every right to tell their story in a book. The delivery of their story must still be smart enough to prevent any legitimate criticisms. Any blame pointed to Prince William and Kate Middleton has to tell the full fair story, otherwise it could be unnecessarily damaging to the image of the royal family, since the Duke and Dutchess Of Edinburgh would be forced to defend themselves.

Take recent reports that both Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, for instance, had approached the Queen and Prince Charles to intervene in the relentless attack by the media against them are, and got no response. This apparently disappointed both Prince Harry and Meghan Markle.

A careful assessment should show the couple do not have good reason to be angry about that. The constant press attack would have been pressurising for the couple, especially Meghan, who was pregnant throughout a period of almost daily onslaught by the press. Any factual stories published were protected by a the legal defence of free expression of the press.Unfair stories would be the duty of the Sussexes themselves to figure out out how to address them.

Tradition

The royal family traditionally do not challenge the press, even if  they set out on a propagandist agenda, or when they write unflattering stories about them.

Also, how the Queen and Prince Charles felt about Meghan Markle would no doubt influence any desire to break tradition in a way that could backfire on them.

Reality

The reality is that  Prince Harry and Meghan Markle themselves may have been out of ideas about how to handle their problems with the press. It was still their duty.

When Prince Harry finally had enough, he banned all the British tabloids from access to him and his wife, but for reasons related to a letter his wife sent her dad. It was their boiling point with the press, but the courts will decide whether it was justified.

We should hope the book will be both interesting and truthful, the end goal being for lessons to be learn and all parties elevate their level of consciousness and also see things how best they can be seen from others looking at the facts from the outside.
