West Midland Detectives hunting the killer of Callum Lee have offered a 5,000 pounds reward to catch his suspected killer.
Police have named 21 year old James Artherly as their chief suspect in the murder investigation , previously from Wells road in Sollihull. Lee was killed after being stabbed in the neck at a House party in Kinghurst’s Hopwas Grove in the early hours of August 6, 2017. The stabbing was over a dispute , the details of which police are not releasing yet.

Several witnesses are believed to have been at the house party and know what the dispute was over, but police have not been able to locate their suspect who would want to escape a murder charge. The neck is one of the most delicate parts of the human body, and death is almost always guaranteed in the event of stabbing to the neck. Birmingham have a number of well connected people, and the eye of media.com always establishes contacts with well connected people in several areas of interest to us. GONE

A statement read out by police, on behalf of Callum’s family, said: “Every morning we wake and realize or son has gone and we are never going to see him again.
“The only thing that keeps us going is knowing that we have to be there for our children and family, so we have got to get through, but our lives will never be the same again.”
“Callum was a genuine, loving, caring person who always wanted to give to others. He was really hard working and worked with his dad six days a week.
“He always made sure that he looked after people and only a few days before he died he helped a stranger he met in the street get home safely.
“He was a really sensitive boy and when he was upset he would always phone his mum and said she always made him feel better.

JAILED
Detective Jim Munro , who is leading the investigation, warned that anyone sheltering Artherly runs the risk of being jailed. Munro said: “This is a tragic case in which a young man has lost his life in awful circumstances. Callum has been attacked in a flat, managed to stagger outside for help but has collapsed and died.
“Our enquiries have identified James Atherley as someone we’d like to question about Callum’s murder. If anyone knows where he is, or has seen him in the last few days, I’d urge them to call us immediately.
“All information will be treated with the utmost confidence.
“We believe he may have left the West Midlands area and may be in or around Weston-Super-Mare. We have made contact with our colleagues in that area and there is a £5,000 reward on offer for information provided through Crimestoppers that leads to his arrest.

TERRIFYING
Being on the run for murder must be a terrifying experience, especially where the perpetrator has had time to calm down and reflect on his act. Some murderous acts are spontaneous and impulsive , reflecting the anger plus rage of the culprit. Where drink and drugs is an added influence, regret and fear could potentially follow. The problem must fugitives would find is that if their identity is known to police, it is just a matter of time before they are eventually caught.
