Viral Tweet Of Police Officer Shows Abusive Partner Fall Through Window Trying To Escape Cops

By Lucy Caulkett-

A  police twitter thread on a man whose abusive partner fell through a first-floor window to escape him has gone viral.

It was the perfect cama for the abusive man who ran out luck when his offences caught up with him.  The man by the name of Peachment, pleaded guilty to harassment and was found guilty by a jury of false imprisonment.

The tweet which was sent  from Northamptonshire Police’s official account was celebrating a great investigation which brought the evil abuser to justice,  but his fall through  a first floor window was a spectacle which officers must have found hilarious and wanted to share for the consumption of others.

The viral tweet read: “Can you imagine the level of fear it takes for someone to throw themselves out of a first-floor window?

“But this is exactly what domestic abusers do to their victims – induce pure terror. It all started as a normal night out…”

The thread explained that it was February 2019 and the pair were on their way to a local bar.

“But the man took issue with what the woman was wearing, making her feel so uncomfortable that the evening was cut short,” it continued.

“It was when they returned home that he truly lost his temper. And wouldn’t let her leave.

“He threw her shoes across the room, pushed and hit her. She made her way to the bathroom and locked the door.

“He became angry once again and tried to break in. This put the woman in such fear of him that she climbed out of the first-floor window, falling onto the floor below.

“As a result of the fall and the attack on her, the woman suffered a fractured vertebrae, a cut to the back of her head, bruising to her eye and a swollen lip.

“The person who did this is Curtis Thomas Peachment, 28, of Bowen Square, Daventry. He will be sentenced on June 14, 2021.

“She has shown immense bravery and I am so proud of her fo supporting our case throughout – she has waited a long time for this to get to court”, DC Taylor said.

The thread added: “We cannot overstate the courage it takes for someone who has experienced abuse like this not only to come forward and tell the police, but to support a prosecution. This woman has been amazing.

The attacker will be sentenced at Northampton Crown Court next month.

It concludes: “Love should lift you up and make you feel safe and happy. It shouldn’t make you feel anxious, fearful and controlled.

“If you are suffering in a relationship please come forward. You deserve better. We will believe you.

“You might think you’re in too deep but we can help you and will do everything in our power to get you away from that individual safely.
