Usain Bolt expressed stumbling disappointment with his performance in the athletics world championships in Britain.
The usual brovadocious eight time olympic champion who has always been miles better than his athletic peers complained about the blocks that prevented him from being his best. In truth, this has not been a good year when measured by standards of his past- he has only run under 10 seconds once in 2017.
The world’s fastest man ran a decent 10.07 seconds, beating Britain’s James Desaolu. However, he claimed his time and performance was very bad. It was bad by his usually high standards.
”That was very bad he said. I stumbled I’m not very fond of these blocks. I think they are the worst I have ever experienced. I have to get the start together because I can’t keep doing this. It’s shaky. When I did my warm up it pushed back. It’s just not what I am used to. Not as sturdy or firm”.

Jamaican born Bolt is unquestionnably the best of his generation. His achievements are a dream to many top athletes who will never replicate his achievements ever. His world record of 9.5secs has dropped each passing year, yet the has remained an outstanding athlete of his time. Bolt has alwyas made a special entrance to every stadium he has performed.
CONFIDENCE
His body language always a signalling an ultra confidence that every race in which he performs is designed for his victory alone. Always pacing the track before the beginning of every race, Bolt’s dominance has never been a dispute to athletic fans and the world. The crowd love him deerly, and his appreciation for them is clear to see. In the midst of the adoration for Bolt, it is clear to see that his best years are behind him. The money, fame and attention may have squeezed out some of the passion for top flight success he once had. #
HUNGRY
On Saturday, he will face a number of hungry athletes desperate to tke his shine from him. It will be his last run, which will give his competitors their last chance to outshine him before he bows out of the sport. Bolt will be on each of their minds as they prepare ahead for the race that can set them up for great things. Usain Bolt’s incredible speed that has set him apart from others may be on its slast legs, but it will be no easy thing for him to be beaten comfortably by those who are up and coming.
