U.S And North Korea Flirting Seriously With World War 3

By Aaron Miller-

U.S and South Korean troops have raised the tempo of war as they converged on the U.S seventh fleet signalling a preparation for war against North Korea.

The tension has been at boiling point for a while now, and is exceeding the hot heat that has been intensifying all year. The many live drills on the Korean Peninsula is a worrying sign that matters may have escalated to a point of no return. The verbal war between the U.S and North Korea, has shown no signs of reversal and the continuous testing of Nuclear weapons by North Korea’s dictator is aggravating the situation almost beyond repair.

General Jeong Kyeong-doo, chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, and US Forces Korea chief General Vincent Brooks met aboard the massive Ronald Regan aircraft carrier. North Korea, as we all know are the trouble shooters in this escalating crisis, but whether the powerful United States has approached this the best way is a value judgment. The threat posed by North Korea cannot be allowed to continue unchallenged, and President Trump wants to stop this dangerous country in its tracks.

The amalgamation of South Korean naval vessels and the nuclear-powered USS Ronald Reagan is an indication that President Trump is serious about stopping the North Korean leader from continuing his reckless and defiant pursuit of nuclear weapons. World war 3 fears are intensifying by the hour as neither of the two sides show any signs of backtracking.
American bombers alongside stealth fighter jets have continued to fly missions in international airspace along the hermit state’s border for month, risking a dramatic showdown between the U.S and North Korea capable of spiraling out of control. Meanwhile, the South Korean Defence Minister Song Young-moo said he and US Secretary of Defence James Mattis plan to wear their respective uniforms during a joint warning.

Mr Song said the meeting will serve as an opportunity to demonstrate to North Korea how “iron-clad” opposition to Kim was. “What’s more important is to demonstrate the ironclad alliance and reaffirm the US plan to send those assets promptly when they are necessary.” The planned warning sends the moist serious sign that the world might be on the brinks of a major war. Whilst the joint steps to warn the North Korean despot may appear useful and necessary, it holds the high potential of spurring North Korea into an unpredictable act that might ignite the most frightening scenario.

It may be bad idea, but the North Korean leader is a dangerous dictator that needs to be stopped. Unfortunately, it cannot be said that the best process of dialogue has been undertaken, but events are unfolding fast. In the dangerously building climate, the bitter exchange of words between President Donald Trump and Kim Jung-Un over the months has exacerbated what was already a grave situation of tension between the combating countries. China’s painstaking efforts of diplomacy have failed , and so have all sanctions imposed against North Korea.
North Korea’s continued defiance and dangerous rhetorics is potentially suicidal, leaving the rest of the world in limbo all and sundry wits to see when and if it all kicks off.
