U.S Bound Passengers From Dubai Under Stringent Security Checks

By Kimberly Johnson-

In Dubai, long-haul carrier Emirates have started implementing a stringent system of scrutiny, by questioning passengers about their luggage in great depths.

Passengers have been questioned about liquids they were carrying, and where they were coming from. Passengers have also had their carry-on bags searched with their electronics. The considerable elevation of the already tight security is part of new measures being implemented by the administration of President Donald Trump, who has long been a fan of very tough rules of constraints for passengers from at least 7 different countries. This new move is designed to be part of increasingly tightened rules of procedures that will make it almost impossible for terrorists to slip through the net.

South Korea’s Transport Ministry announced today that the United States agreed to delay implementing the new screening for the country’s two biggest carriers, Korean Air Lines Co. and Asiana Airlines Inc. until next year on the proviso they deploy staff at boarding gates to monitor travelers.

Royal Jordanian, based in Amman, also has said it would introduce the new procedures in mid-January.

The entire move will combat world terrorism and preventing recruiters of terrorists from making Dubai a channel of entry into the United States. Staff at the boarding gates have been adopting a very high level security policy in their determination to ensure that Dubai is terror free. Dubai is known to be one of the richest part of the Arab nations, bursting with oil and natural resources.

Thriving businesses have been on the rise in the last decade, and the country is a haven for entrepreneurs with an eye for success and comfortable living. However, there has also been high suspicion that some wealthy individuals in Dubai are funding terrorist networks, if intelligence sources are to be relied upon for the scale and quality of their professional competence. With the current tense climate between the U.S and North Korea, President Trump will not be taking any chances when it comes to security. Allies of the enemy can always use covert forms to launch their attack. The issue of terrorism is wide enough to call for such tough measures.
