Two U.S Teenagers Accused Of Murdering Retired Police Chief Laugh In Court And Stick Middle Finger Up

By Aaron Miller-

The shocking behavior of two teenagers accused of killing a retired police chief with a stolen car has left observers in disbelief. Jesus Ayala, 18, and Jzamir Keys, 16, appeared for a morning hearing after being indicted on charges of murdering former top cop Andreas Probst and other serious felonies.

However, it was their disrespectful antics in court that have garnered significant attention.

An 8 News Now camera crew captured the suspects in their blue jail uniforms, seemingly unfazed by the gravity of their situation, Ayala and keys were seen smiling and laughing as they watched the court proceedings unfold.

At one point, they even covered their faces with their hands, attempting to shield themselves from the cameras. As they were led out of the courtroom, their smug grins and an offensive gesture directed at Probst’s wife and daughter only added to the shocking scene.

Probst’s daughter, Taylor, was present at the hearing and expressed her outrage over the teenagers’ behavior. She told KSNV, “These guys did not respect the court whatsoever.

They were just dicking around the entire time.” Taylor further questioned their actions, saying, “They were flipping us off. How can you sit there after taking a man’s life and act like such an entitled punk?”

The behavior exhibited by Ayala and Keys, who not only allegedly killed a retired police chief but also laughed and made obscene gestures during their court appearance, has left many perplexed and outraged.

The incident that led to the teens’ indictment and subsequent court appearance was a tragic one. On a fateful day, they are accused of fatally mowing down retired police chief Andreas Probst with a stolen car. The shocking disrespect shown in court adds another layer of distress to an already devastating situation.

Surveillance footage showed what’s believed to be the suspects trying to flee the cops by running through a parking lot.

As well as the two cyclists, police say that the two teenagers stole three cars and committed burglary all within two hours.

Ayala is facing 18 charges over the incident, including murder, attempted murder, battery with use of a deadly weapon, leaving the scene of an accident and numerous separate larceny and burglary charges.

Officers arrested Ayala hours after he allegedly drove into Probst and told officers that he wouldn’t be locked up for long.

The teenagers’ seemingly callous attitude during the court hearing raises questions about their understanding of the gravity of the charges against them. Their alleged actions, which resulted in the death of a respected police chief, have far-reaching consequences, not only for the victim’s family but also for society at large.

The Role of the Justice System

In response to the teenagers’ behavior, many may question the role of the justice system in ensuring that those accused of serious crimes are held accountable for their actions.

The courtroom is meant to be a place of respect and solemnity, where the seriousness of the charges is recognized.

Ayala and Keys’ display of disrespect has left observers wondering about the measures in place to maintain the dignity of such proceedings.

Ayala and Keys, who are being held without bail in the Clark County Detention Center, will continue to face legal proceedings related to the charges against them.
