Theresa May Will Restrict Movements Of Suspected Terrorists

By Ben Kerrigan-

UK prime minister, Theresa May, has stepped to the plate on security issues by promising to restrict the movement of suspected terrorists .

She expressed a willingness to change Human Rights Laws and restrict freedom of movement in the cases of suspected terrorists even where there is insufficient evidence to prosecute them in court.

Speaking during her final closing days of campaigning, May promised to keep the public safe by potentially changing Human Right Laws that allow freedom of movement to all citizens .

The prime minister also declared plans to deport known terrorists to their countries as part of a shake up to assure the British public of her seriousness to protect our safety.

FUNDING

Opposition leader, Jeremy Corbyn, criticised the approach by pointing out that increased funds for the police and the security services is what is needed to address the problem of terrorism.

Increased funding to the police and security services will certainly be useful, but this can be complemented with the declaration made by Theresa May. Polling day is just 24 hours away, and the prime minister knows that security is uppermost in the minds of the British public at the moment.

ASSURANCE

The public will need to be assured that May can deliver on her promise , but also has the financial resources to do so. Terrorists are taking this country for a ride , and it is time we met them know that Britain will not be an easy country to commit terrorist atrocities .

RESTRICTED

All the thousands of suspected terrorists in the country now need to have their movements restricted . Should May be successful in the polls on Thursday , evidence of the restrictive process needs to be seen. Increased funds to the police and the security system will be absolutely necessary to support May’ s ambitious plans .
