The sick teenager who killed a woman and injured three others at a San Diego Synagogue is to appear in court to answer charges of one count of murder with a hate-crime special circumstance and gun allegations. Evil 19 year old John Earnest is also charged with three counts of attempted murder with hate-crime and gun allegations. The twisted weirdo is further charged with arson of a house of worship stemming from a fire he allegedly ignited at the Dar-ul-Arqam mosque in the San Diego County town of Escondido on March 24.
He shot and killed a 60-year-old woman , wounded a rabbi, a 34-year-old man, and an 8-year-old girl, in a lone attack of inexplicable madness. Earnest is being held without bail, appeared to have written an online manifesto in which he also claimed responsibility for a pre-dawn arson attack at a nearby mosque last month and said he was inspired by the mass shooting at two mosques in New Zealand that killed 50 people in March.
Before he launched his venomous synagogue attack at 11: 30 a.m. Saturday in Poway, about 15 miles north of San Diego, Earnest posted a threatening laden with anti-Semitic and Islamophobic references online and wrote he was planning to livestream an attack. He also expressed white supremacist views and claimed responsibility for the mosque fire.
Federal Bureau of Investigation officials were alerted to the letter by an online tipster five minutes before Earnest burst into the Poway synagogue.
Saturday’s attack on the Chabad of Poway synagogue in suburban San Diego was a sad reminder of a much more deadly attack that occurred six months earlier when 11 worshippers were shot to death at a Pittsburgh synagogue, this being the deadliest attack ever on American Jewry.
Earnest, who is being held without bail, appeared to have written an online manifesto in which he also claimed responsibility for a pre-dawn arson attack at a nearby mosque last month and said he was inspired by the mass shooting at two mosques in New Zealand that killed 50 people in March. In reality, he was a hopeless fool with no real life prospects looking for notoriety, one that will end his freedom in society for good.
